Episode 6: Return of the Rat
Jamie returns to a former client to track down one last rat. Miguel and Roman do a roach cleanout on their favorite restaurant. Mike and the team help a woman being attacked by bedbugs and a couple whose artwork is being devoured.

I watched the most recent episode (June 3, 2008) and the narrator made a comment that rat feces can contain Salmonella. That is true, but the narrator also stated that Salmonella was caused by a virus. This is not true as Salmonella is a bacteria that is responsible for the majority of the food borne illnesses in the U.S. Just a technical inacurracy that I thought needed to be corrected.

Can anyone tell me where I have seen that lady "Angela from tonight's episode of "The Verminators"? Her face is soooooo familiar. Help, please, it's driving me nuts.

Wasnt she and her husband on Fox's Moment of Truth? I thought they looked familiar. I guess they used the winnings to go to Africa

Angela WAS a contestant on Fox's Moment of Truth last season. Either they are just media hounds that want to get on TV all the time, or this whole thing and Isotech is a big scam and setup job. This was filmed AFTER the Moment of Truth, and the production team from Verminators should have caught that. I think we've been duped and scammed!!
Also, the couple looks happy and she dropped total bombshells on him on that other show! This whole thing is a setup, they are just professional actors being used on various shows for ratings!

THANK YOU ROBERT!!! That's it!!! It was bugging the heck out of me all night (no pun intended). I think you've hit the nail on the head Michael. Media hounds, because they didn't act like a couple who'd been "torn apart" on national TV. They looked pretty happy to me... hmmmm.

It is real, I have had these guys at my home for rodents, and they do get down and dirty. They are not actors if they are they are bad ones. If you think its fake call them and get them out to your home or buisness. numbers is on the back of the truck.

BUGS, RATS, RODENTS, PESTS…
WHATEVER THE PROBLEM, WE CAN HELP.
We want your bugs. And your rats, pests, rodents, and termites. We want the jobs no one else can handle, the problems that are out of control, and the infestations of epic proportions. Whether the problem affects your small studio apartment or your entire city block, the Verminators team wants to help.
Verminators, a Discovery Channel docu-style reality series, follows an elite team of pest-busters to the front lines of their never-ending battle against infestations of all kinds. From small apartments overrun with roaches to a city sewer system overrun with rats, the Verminators track their prey through ports of call, underground subways, art museums, residential family homes, and beyond. Led by Mike Masterson, these men and women are the thoroughbreds of the pest control world – hand selected exterminators who outthink and outmaneuver even the peskiest of vermin. There is no job we can’t handle.
And right now, an all new bug-blasting season is just getting started.
If you or someone you know has a problem, please contact us immediately. We want to help! Send your stories, pictures and/or video to verminatorscasting@gmail.com or go to www.discovery.com/verminators and bring the VERMINATORS to your house.

Why is Discovery irresponsibly airing a sick show that glorifies the killing of innocent animals (particularly mice and rats)? You're also glorifying uneducated homeowners who are too stupid to know the positive ecological benefits of supposed "pests" and/or care about the welfare of animals.
Bugs are one thing but mice and rats are as intelligent as dogs (or infant children), they feel pain and fear just like us. In fact humans are directly descended from the rodent-like animals that survived the dinosaurs. They are our ancestors. So why celebrate their extermination? Without rodents the human race wouldn't even exist! So please show them a little respect. If you have a problem, there are non-lethal traps that can be purchased to rid your house of any unwelcome guests. I have used them and they work great. You just relocate the little guys to the nearest natural area.
And of course discovery is also celebrating the use of pesticide chemicals which are giving us all cancer and doing more harm to society than these "pests" ever could. I thought Discovery used to be the environmental channel but I guess not, just another media company showing off the products of big oil.
Now I'm glad I cancelled my subscription to premium cable TV a year or two back. I knew Discovery was going downhill when half of its shows started to be about home renovations and motorcycle customization. Now it appears Discovery has sunk to the level of sensationalist tabloid TV. What happened to the intellectual science-based Discovery Channel I used to watch? Back when the shows were about learning about animals, rather than being about killing them for profit and out of ignorance and cruelty.
