This is One Crazy F1 Inspired iPhone/iPod Dock

Tunes and cars go together. So why not in some way when you aren’t on the streets? Fine. Two artists from Italy have created some insanely F1 inspired iPhone/iPod docks, which are not only gorgeous to look at but clearly boost your sound.

They are known as iXoost, and each are handmade from solid blocks of aluminum with the manifolds milled using five – axis machines. The manifolds act as natural speakers combined with tweeters and subwoofers, the size of which depends on the size of the model you order, though each is capable of 420 watts of power.

Now’s probably the time to inquire about these in case you were thinking about one for the holidays – and they seem to be pricey, starting at $6,100
