The Oldest Surviving Mini Could be Yours
04/27/2012
That is, if you can pay the $19,000-$24,000 this Austin Mini Se7en De Luxe is estimated to be auctioned for on Wednesday, April 30, in London.
To the untrained eye this car looks like a rustbucket that belongs at a junkyard, but to those with car knowledge this car is a very exciting piece of scrap metal.
According to the auctioneers at Bonham, this car, registration number XLL 27, chassis number AA2S7/108, is the eighth of its type to come off the production line at Longbridge in May 1959
Unfortunately, there have been a few items replaced, like the driver's door and carpet. Otherwise this car is completely intact, it retains its factory Farina Grey paintwork, all its original panels, engine, transmission and the original registration number.
Just an idea for those of you who aim to be the next Wayne Carini and want to chase classic cars as well. If you were to get your hands on it - would you restore it or keep it in its current condition?

Great job, I just ran across your weblog and wanted to say that I’ve truly enjoyed browsing your blog posts. I have subscribed to your feed and I hope you write again very soon.

I wish to specifically educate the world about the dual oppression of Hazara women, and their dual identities.

Personally I would leave it alone and store it well. With Mini's as abundant as they are, it is far too easy to find another to restore to greatness. Only original once. Never minding the fact it needs INSANE amounts of work.

Rust only turns to dust. Id restore it, and put our britts' brothers colors on the roof.
