Style Flasback: Our 7 Favorite Tiffany Fashion Moments
01/03/2013
Tonight's season premiere of What Not To Wear features a very special pop culture guest -- '80s pop star and adorable redhead Tiffany will have her look updated and upbraided by Stacy and Clinton. Tiffany made a name for herself in the late '80s with her cover of "I Think We're Alone Now," which shot straight to number one, and had her battling with fellow singer Debbie Gibson for top pop princess status. So in honor of her full fashion transformation, we thought we'd take a look back at some of Tiffany -- and our -- most enduring '80s looks.
Jean Jackets: Is this the most iconic, enduring image of Tiffany, or what? The slightly oversized denim jacket was the perfect '80s outerwear.
Stone-washed Denim: Which is why it was necessary to have it in regular wash and stone-washed denim. And of course, you've gotta pair it with a chunky knit turtleneck.
Hats: And everything goes better with a bowler hat.
Business Casual: Here, at a performance in 1987, Tif pairs a black ruffle skirt with a black blouse featuring a geometric pattern. And no outfit would be complete without a wide belt. Hot!
Matching Jackets and Jeans: Fringe, so much fringe! And jacket embellishments! And oh, those puffy, awesomely hair-sprayed bangs!
Leather Jackets: The envy of practically every girl in 1988, Tiffany gets to party with Jonathan Knight and the rest of the New Kids On The Block. I bet they traded hair-feathering tips.
Silk Vests: Okay, I admit, I had, like, 20 of these horrific vests in the '80s and early '90s. Here, Tif pairs her silk cerulean blue vest with simple black. Very classic.
So 'fess up: What was your signature '80s style? Share in the comments, and don't forget to tune in for the Season 10 premiere of What Not To Wear (featuring Tiffany!) tonight at 10|9c.

Stirrup pants! With oversized shirts! And I would match my knee-high nylons with the shirt color. Ah the memories!
