A New "Bakers Dozen" Of Hopefuls Competes In The Third Season Of "Next Great Baker"

Whoa boy are we excited (and hungry)! Just announced: A third season of Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro's baking competition show Next Great Baker premieres Monday, November 26.

This season promises all new challenges and 13 new contestants, including a 21-year-old cake decorator, a 30-year-old stay-at-home mom and several pro bakery owners. The thirteenth competitor, Chris Luna, was actually chosen right here on TLC.com, and is sales associate and an amateur baker.

Contestants will be judged by Buddy and his team, along with special guests, including Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza, professional wrestler Lou Ferrigno, A Christmas Story's Peter Billingsley, Holly Madison, and N*Sync's Joey Fatone.

At stake is the super sweet prize of $100,000, plus a feature in Redbook magazine, and the opportunity to work with Buddy and his crew at Carlo's Bakery. “Each season brings out stronger contestants and I think this is the best batch yet," said Buddy of this new season of Next Great Baker. "The challenges are
tougher, the judges more critical, and the reward as sweet as ever.”

Love this show.next great baker is a fair contest. Unlike x factor , voice and worse is abby dance. Buddy gives fair challenges and judges by the best cakes. Other shows i mention judges go by color like asia still in it is nuts. Other fair show is agt. And project runway. Thank you buddy . I am liking chad cause hes from phila plus i liked his first dessert. I may change my mind as i get to know contestants. I agreed with season one. And i would have picked the guy on season two but i wasnt unhappy with his winner.

Love show but not Buddy's cruelty towards the contestants Where is the warmth and charm he used to have?

Paul is NOT NICE, should be out of the show. Disgusting comment he made when Peter enters the room on the first episode. Cocky, rough guy.

Letty, she is very talented. Her work on the mexican inspired cake was outstanding, beside her 2 team players work who made a kindergarden unrefined job, BUT, even she has a point, her communication skills are her weakness. Is okey to be bold, but not rude and controlling, not nice. She was bossy, rude,unpolite to display that way on a TV show.

The WORST of all is the BUDDY VALASTRO. Painful to watch. Stupid arrogant.
