The Worst Wedding Guests Ever

Last week, two wedding parties in Philadelphia got into a nasty brawl that left several injured and one guest dead. More than a hundred people from the two wedding parties -- both being held at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel -- were involved in the brawl. While it's still unclear what caused the dust up, several people were issued disorderly conduct citations, and one guest -- Vincent Sannuti, the uncle of one of the brides -- died after collapsing in the hotel parking lot. Another was tasered after putting a police officer in a headlock.

And you thought you had ornery friends.

The Philadelphia incident is just the latest story of terrible guests ruining a couple's big day. Below, we've got 5 more stories of seriously awful wedding guests.

The Woman Who Attacked The Bride, Slow Danced With The Groom: Brooke Burke (no relation to the Dancing With The Stars Brooke Burke) was invited to the wedding of her sister-in-law Margaret Burke, where she decided to slow dance with the groom. The only problem? When Margaret attempted to cut in and dance with her new husband, Brooke attacked her. When an off-duty officer attempted to step in and resolve the problem, Brooke attacked him, too. She was eventually arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. Not surprisingly, she blames the booze.

The Guy Who Stole All The Wedding Gifts: When Larry and Joanna Wliliamson were married, they received tons of gifts from their thrilled friends and family. And then wedding guest Omar Santiago tried to steal them. Santiago was spotted waling out of the Williamson's reception carrying a large white box which contained the couple's monetary gifts. Santiago was eventually caught and arrested, and charged with fourth-degree larceny.

The Guy Who Punched The Bride In The Face: British soccer star Danny Guthrie got married in summer of 2012, and his soccer hooligan friends got a little out of hand. First, they started a food fight, throwing lobster thermador at one another. And then things took a violent turn when Guthrie's bride Rebecca Middleman was punched in the face. The police were called three times, and the estate that held the wedding is currently suing the couple for damage.

The Guests Who Celebrated With Gunfire: A group of wedding guests in Dagestan, Russia, fired off a bunch of guns to celebrate the nuptials of one of their friends. While the guns were allegedly fired only into the air, the guests refused to exit their vehicles and give up their guns to the police, and additional reinforcements had to be called. Fifteen people were detained by the cops and charged with hooliganism. The bride and groom claim they didn't fire any of the weapons.

The Guest Who Got The Groom Arrested: In 2009, Samuel Lucas was a guest at his uncle John Lucas's wedding at the Crystal Plantation in River Ridge, Louisiana. His saggy pants violated the plantation's dress code, though, so the police officer working at the venue asked Samuel to pick up his pants. When he refused, the two began arguing, and John Lucas got involved. Samuel, John and Samuel's father Walter were all arrested for disturbing the peace and obstruction of police, and Walter was arrested for resisting an officer. Hopefully next time, Samuel Lewis will just tighten his belt.
