Woo Hoos for 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo!'

Honey Boo Boo child, the Toddler that lit up the internetwaves with her Toddlers & Tiaras appearance earlier this year, is capturing the hearts and minds of critics, viewers and bloggers across the land with her new show (aptly and accurately titled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo).

Known to her friends and family as Alana Thompson (her real name), Honey Boo Boo is inspiring all kinds of super-sweet turns-of phrase. Here's a taste!

Washington Post: "I’m as powerless as anyone to look away from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo..."

Us Weekly: "Take heart, Olympics fanatics -- though the Games are coming to an end in just a few short days, something even more epic lies on the horizon, ready to fill that primetime TV void."

Yahoo's OMG!: "The self-proclaimed 'rednecks' are sure to deliver plenty of wacky hijinx as Alana and her mother June maintain their infamous behavior, all while giving viewers exactly what they want..."

And if you thought the 6-year-old girl who gained fame in part for her penchant for yelling "a dolla makes me holla" wouldn't ever end up among the pundits and newspeople on CNN, you thought wrong!

This show is the worst trash that I have EVER seen on t.v. TLC is making Americans look like ignorant, lazy, disgusting, stupid slobs, just to make a buck. Thanks! Someone said she looked like Shirly Temple PLEASE don't insult Shirley Temple. She looks more like Orphan Annie on crack..........very homely ill mannered and down right skanky for a 6 year old. I am sure that the kids at school make fun of her. And why people think she is cute is a mystery to me.

How dare you TLC, what nerve you have to show a "real" family that do "real" things!!!! I love it, I have laughed so much over this show, my mother, grandmother and my hubby all watch it too. There are several reality shows on TV now but I find it hard to believe that any of them are any more real than this. I think it's wonderful and though at times it's far fetched...I will and have watched every episode!!!!!

This show disgusts me! I cannot believe that a television corporation like "The Learning Channel" would glamourize not only "toddlers and tiars" but white trash. I feel sorry for this little girl. Please remove this show from your programming. I have lost all respect for this channel.

Wow...lots of negativity on here. What I see is a hardworking husband, married to his high school sweetheart for quite some time. A close knit family who do a lot together, and share their passion for their daughter's pageants. Alana's personality is a hoot and the family is fun to watch. Yes, there is a teen pregnancy, and June did say that she was not thrilled when she found out, but of course is supporting her daughter. Sounds like a healthy, happy family to me. Their culture sure is different than mine, but that's what makes them enjoyable to watch. I think people need to free their mind a bit or just change the channel.

OMG! I've never seen such haters in my life!! The other thing is that most of the haters that plan to boycott the Learning Channel have trouble spelling the simplest of words! I find that rather humorous considering how disgusting u say they are. Lol. Disgusting!!!! I cannot believe that TLC has gone to the dogs. Honey Boo Boo needs to be cancelled ASAP! It degrades the human intellect just to spend five minutes watching this program. I'm unsure if that was english that was being spoken....obviously TLC had doubts and used subtitles! Seriously??? What were you thinking, TLC??? It's NOT a hit, and completely nauseating.

Honey boo boo i enjoy watching. They make me laugh and they have fun.. Alot better watching something funny rathet than a person hooked on drugs or people who pack their home to the brim. And u can always change the channel

I think this show is absolutely hilarious and I love it! I remember telling my family how funny this little girl was when I saw her on Toddlers and Tiaras. I think Alana is so adorable and has TONS of personality. I look forward to seeing more!
