Honey Boo Boo Inspires Song, Much Praise
08/09/2012
Unless you were aboard the Mars rover for the past 24 hours, chances are you've been caught up in the massive wave of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo mania. The press loves it (Time magazine exclaimed: "America, meet your new family-comedy royalty!"; Gawker called it "important television"); Twitter loves it; Snooki & JWOWW love it; your cubicle-mate probably won't stop talking about it.
But perhaps best of all, one little musical genius named Jed loved it so much he wrote a song.
If by some travesty you missed last night's airing, catch up by watching full episodes, and then tune in to Here Comes Honey Boo Boo every Wednesday @ 10|9c.

I think this is a great show. It's just like any other family, they love each other and love to make the best of things. I love seeing a true family on TV...it's not one of those romance celebrity shows because they always ruin the relationship. The fact that June is putting money away for the girls and still saving money for Alana's pageants is wonderful. They're happy the way they are! I love it!

Incredible points. Sound arguments. Keep up the amazing work.

Please people, there are so many other worse shows on these days.... South Park, Family Guy, Real Housewives of anything, Kardashians, etc...

Gosh, I have read some of the negative comments and honestly people GET A LIFE! Judging people because of their weght or saying they are ugly, stupid and uneducated really bothers me. Narrow-minded individuals, you must like it if you took the time to type and put negativity out in to the world. Haters are going to hate because they are unhappy with the own life. You better redneckognize! :-D

I love the show! Television is suppose to entertain and they do just that. They always make me laugh. I'm glad they are coming back for a second season.

Trash TV at it's finest. Can't wait till they realize that TLC has done nothing more than to make them the laughing stock of the majority of people in this country that watches this train wreck.

Her dresses would fit better on her pet pig. I think it has a better chance winning a pageant than she does......

I love watching Alana and her Moma June-they are original. The child reflects love. June is a good mother for Alana who herself wants to be a star. June supports her childs' dreams. Honey Boo Boo will grow up more sure of herself than most children because her family understands that beauty comes first from within and they live it. I applaud them for daring to believe in their children. I hope they never read the garbage posted by ignorant folks who apparently believe you must be thin, completely polite and a professional speaker at 6 years old. I'd rather watch Alana being her loving and genuine self because she's real.

After the first time I watched it I would have said a lot of the negative stuff that many people have posted. However, after a busy, crazy day with all of my children and being totally exhausted, I watched another episode and it cracked me up. Our world is made up of all kinds of people and this family may not be prim and propper but their love for eachother is quite clear. They certainly know how to enjoy their lives and Hooray for that.

Honey booboo is a disgusting little girl. Can't Blaime her .
Her mother should be ashamed of herself. Tlc should take that program off the air. Wasting everyone time .

Despite the family disfunction of this family,Little alana you can see is a sweet little girl.I feel sorry for her because you see heartache and disappointment in her eyes at times and she does hide it fairly well. But I really thought it was a low blow that the people behind the scenes of the camera kept rolling on her and no one helped when she sneezed alot of flem cam out,you could see she was trying to cover it up ,she was embarrassed and you could see her start to cry at the end.like are the grown ups there so set on ratings that they would do something that was so abusive to her self esteem? like hand the child a tissue and cut the scene.somethings aren't worth ratings. As a parent I was disturbed about alot of things but what the camera's did to make things look worse or highlight the negative was not honorable at all.I would love to see more of honey booboo i think she has potential, she is a very loving child.maybe if the focused less on the family and dysfunction and more on her it could be a cute show. but you know despite all the negative things her family does they did alot in one summer that included the whole family that most functional families fail in making important which is quality family time, enjoying each other.I hope they renew the show just make changes to how they depict the family and little alana. One day this little girl will grow up and see these shows and realize how they made her look and that can be damaging.
Incidently the world does not begin and end with southern U.S.A.! Do they not have a budget to do shows in other area's of the states or other countries? like it or not there are dysfunctional families in every level of social status exhibited in different ways, they either hide it well or society has deemed it acceptable behavior.

I really like this show....I am sick of shows where people are perfect...this is the real world people...get out of your fantasys...rather watch "real" people...I am betting you all got some dirty laundry so don't act like your family is perfect. At least this family isn't trying to hide anything. Keep the show on TLC, there are alot of people watching and for the rest, "change the channel"

I hate this show. I usually give a new show a few episodes grace before giving my opinion...but I couldn't even get past the first episode...I DID NOT want to watch another show of this fat red-neck family and their little girl who thinks she's all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips...which they probably all would've been fighting over like a pack of hungry pigs...lol..Just sayin..and thats my opinion and feed back..

This is despicable and needs to be taken off the air. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is making fat people look dirty, dumb and ignorant, when not all of them are.
I could even forgive that though - but they're dragging a little girl into the fray and that just isn't right. Sure, she's overweight, but that isn't the child's fault. It's the parents fault and I'm sick of seeing the cracks and jokes about the kid all over the internet and everywhere else.
This isn't funny. It's sick and sad. I will be writing a letter to TLC to make sure they take it off the air.
TLC - if you're going to make a show like this - even if the mother volunteered to make this - leave the kids out of it. They can't help how much they weigh and they shouldn't be punished for it.
Honey Boo Boo herself is to young to know any better. Shame on you!

personally i think this family is one of the least disturbing families featured on toddlers & tiaras, they seem to really love each other and the little girl has an actual personality instead of being a puppet

The "Learning" Channel???? I'm very liberal in my beliefs and I do not believe in forcing my opinions on others, but how embarrassing for that family. I can see this as entertaining to a certain demographic, but on TLC?? It still is The Learning Channel, right? Not The Lugubrious Channel...look it up.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, and there goes any and all credibility that TLC has somehow managed to hang on to until this point. You are a disgrace to television.

I would really like to know WHY my comment(s) have not been posted. They were no different than the others that have been posted. I guess TLC doesn't like to be hit up side the head with the truth about their choice of programming.

This is the most disgusting show I have seen yet. Number one the family is gross and disgusting and lacking basic manners. Alana is a little pig with her farting, antics, and disgusting eating habits. This family is definitely paid too much and the show should be cancelled. It is making a mockery of the southern people and whoever said alana is america's sweetheart needs a new pair of glasses.

I am thoroughly disgusted with the honey boo boo show. They are nothing but pigs, slobs, and disrespectful. I don't think Alana is very pretty even with the make up. She is too chubby to show off that big belly of her and I don't know who told you she was america's sweet heart but you got it wrong. Please cancel the show. demand your salary back from them and put on a decent show.. kids and parent farting and picking their noses.. not entertaining at all.. and dirty feet on top of that.. gross
