Mr. Buddy Valastro,
I just want to Thank you very much . She for making such a great impact on my 6 year old granddaughter (Brooke). She draws pictures of cakes all the time.. So for Halloween she wanted to be a Wedding Cake. She was a very cute Wedding cake it took me about 10 hours to figure it out. She was a hit at school in 1st grade. Brooke's other two sisters (Hailey) she is 2years old was a strawberry cupcake and the baby (Vanessa) 8 months old was an ice cream cone. Brooke wanted me to send a pictures of her in her costume to you...Where do I send the pictures too. Thanks again Buddy for making a 6 year old day...

Hello Buddy,
My family and I watch your show religiously. I am in the process of trying to get my own bakery, in a town that does not have a bakery, after my husband retires from the military. I am taking business classes and also cake decorating classes. I love to bake and I according to the people who taste my baked goods I am really good, but decorating cakes does not come all that easy for me. I am told I am better than I think. I guess I am my own worst critic. When I do get my bakery it will be family owned and ran. Do you find it hard to work with family? Not just Mary (LOL). In my management class I am doing a paper on you and how you manage a family run shop. You guys are truly an inspriration. Thank you

Buddy,
No, I would not work with my family. In your situation, as with so many others, families take advantage and demand their way, like your sister does. By what I've seen, she shows you little respect but I also have noticed that you will finally put your foot down when you have no other choice. Unfortunately, it's only after everyone else's nerves are frayed and your other employees are frustrated and downcast. Your sister is like my dog....she will walk into any situation and disrupt the whole group because of her aggressiveness. My solution is to keep her away from other dogs. Your solution should be to islolate your sister when she starts to act like that. She's a grown woman and behaves like a spoiled, childish brat. If she loves you...really loves you, she will respect you more.
I don't know if you've seen "Ace of Cakes" on the Food Network. The employees are much happier, their artwork on the cakes is beautiful (and of course, so is yours) but my point is they smile often. I'm not saying it is that way all the time, but on an average, they really are enjoying their work (and those they work with) and so far, I haven't heard the chef chew any of them out like you do. When one is happy on their job, it shows in their work and productivity. Ease up on your employees and hopefully one day, they will smile a bit more often, too.

Hey Buddy! I love your show, I just think it is amazing how you can make all these wonderful cakes! I just wish your bakery wasn't so far away! My brother is going to be turning 28 on May 3! When he was 3, he was diagnosised with Cerebral Palsy! It is a brain disorder that makes him where he can not walk. It also caused him to have late brain development. He pretty much has the mind of an 8 year old. They only give people with CP a while to live, most of them die within their teenage years. We have been so fortunate to see him come this far in life. I am only 18 and his little sister, but he is my life, I would do anything I could for him. I know I am pretty far away from the bakery, but I was wanting to know how far do you deliver? He is wanting a monster truck cake. I know it is a lot to ask considering I am so far away, but I just know how much it would mean to him and see his face light up that day. If you could just please message back at my email, it would mean a lot! Thanks so much, Star!
