Hey everyone, Byron and Team TIV here. It's been a while, I apologize. We've been pretty busy despite that horrible ridged out month of May.
Today begins some great excitement and we are jacked up on energy drinks and headed to our first target of the day. As Brandon, one of our meteorologists put it this morning on the radio, "who here is NOT ready to see a tornado today?" We've had this itch for a whole month and it's time to start scratching.
We are not an official part of V2, but are still working with Josh Wurman and his CSWR crew when on the same targets. Today will be one of those days. Be sure to watch the excitement on the LiveTracker streams off of www.discovery.com/stormchasers and thestormreport.com.
This is going to be a wild week!

Hey there Scout team. We were eating lunch at Perkins in North Platte, Nebraska and my mom said, "Oh my God, there are the guys from Storm Chasers!" Sure enough, it was you guys! I called my 4 year old brother to tell him that we had seen you and he was literally screaming on the phone he was so excited. It's crazy seeing you guys on TV and then there you are in our state. We are excited for the new season and good luck chasing this summmer!

Hey, you guys! Just wanna let you three know that I have been trying to capture a water spout just outside my home in South Florida. Its not that hard to find one where I live in Florida. As every now and then I get that chance to photograph one right behind my house since my parents and I live right on the water and not far from the ocean where they actually form. Any tips for capturing one on digital camera would be great! Cuz the last two times the camera jammed and I couldn't put it online! Keep up the work and another great idea, Reed, you should market that BACK UP! on a t-shirt! It will sell like HOT DOGS! Keep safe, and happy Tornado Hunting from this wanna be storm chaser!
peace all

This post really makes you
think about how certain problems require that you do quite a bit of research before
finding "good data" that will answer a question in part or provide part of the solution.
