Storm chasing is a year-round operation for TornadoVideos.net, since tornadoes can happen almost any time of the year! Today is a perfect example, as a late season tornado outbreak is imminent this afternoon and evening across parts of the Central and Southern Plains. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a moderate risk for south-central KS into northern OK, where the best ingredients are in place for tornadoes. Check out TornadoVideos.net for video updates as well as the live tracker page on discovery.com/stormchasers for some live tornado action! Enjoy Episode 4 this weekend everyone!

Just started watching the show last night--AMAZING! I'm hooked and can't wait until the next episode this week. Thanks for the entertainment, guys!

Hey, I have a an idea that might help with the vehicle problems that you seem to be having with the D.O.W. I know and understand that you want a vehicle that is great at getting up close to tornado's without the crew or team becoming injured or worse die. So, try talking with the military about the amphibious vehicle's that you see on the news and television. They might have one or two that would fit your needs. Then all you have to do is, paint it and add the equipment. And it shouldn't break down as much. By the way, really love the show, keep it up and stay safe out there while you do what I would love to do.

I'm totally subscribing to this blog because I live in Texas. If I ever hear of Reed coming anywhere near my city, I'm getting in the closet. Thanks for sharing your passion for weather!

AND...we're under a tornado watch.

I have watched this show the last couple weekends. One thing I noticed: the TVN guys need way more warning lights on their suv. You can't clear traffic just by flashing your brights. I recommend elightbars.org for more information. Also, thumbs up for using the Dodge platform for the TIV. That chassis and engine should last many, many seasons.

have you guys considered having a more simplified design for your TIV? As a starting point you could use an idea of a M113 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M113), Bradley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradley_fighting_vehicle), or an MRAP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MRAP_(armored_vehicle))...those can withstand explosive threats, I'm pretty sure they can stand a tornado for several seconds.

I was shocked and appalled at the lack of good decision making on last nights episode.
Sean is an idiot, having the TIV driver turn around and drive the wrong way on a highway is beyond dangerous. A TV show does not give permission to risk the lives of innocent people on the highway. I have also voiced my complaints to the National Transportation Safety Administration and the highway patrol. Even Ronan in his last blog post indicated the scariest moment of chasing was when a driver went the wrong way on a highway! Shame on you!

Well guys, and lady, I have to agree with Eric, or Peter.
I wish the poster's name were INSIDE the post's separator lines with the post instead of undeneath as it is now.
Anyway, the TIV driving against traffic on the freeway of all places was nerve racking.
I know Sean is in a time crunch to get his I-Max film finished.
But use your head guy. Don't freak like you do. Or you may lose it and we would never get to see your finished product.
" Tornado Alley "
Great title BTW.
There has to be SOMETHING that your Dr. could prescribe to
calm you down a bit.
Believe this Sean, I know of what I speak. Get something for severe anxiety.... NOW !!!!
You're under way too much stress.
