It's happening!! A strong storm system is forecast to eject from the Southern Rockies on Wednesday, pumping Gulf of Mexico moisture northward and resulting in ideal conditions for tornadoes across the Central and Southern Plains by afternoon. The TornadoVideos.net team will definitely be chasing this severe weather event, so check back for updates as the severe weather unfolds! Right now we think Central Kansas north to Nebraska looks most favorable for tornadoes on Wednesday, and east to the Central and Southern MS River Valley by Thursday. Shown below is one of the forecast maps we use to predict where and when tornadoes will happen. The green color over the Southern Plains represents the highest instability available for the storms! Typically, the higher the number the better the chances are for tornadoes if a storm can develop.
Any chance you wanna come to Kearney and pick me up? haha
