As a strong storm system ejects over the Central Plains from the Rocky Mountains today, conditions will become increasingly favorable for supercells and tornadoes through the afternoon and evening across central Nebraska and Northern Kansas. TVN just arrived in York, Nebraska (for about the 10th time this week!) at around 3:00 am, and will be heading west in a few hours for a target area in Central Nebraska. I would not be surprised if today rivals some of the outbreaks we chased last week in Kansas... In fact, I promise to grow a mullet if we fail to deploy our camera probe in the path of a tornado today! The Storm Prediction Center tornado probabilistic forecast is shown here, with the "hatched area" indicating a risk for strong tornadoes.
I am up here in very South East of South Dakota. Glad to see you coming up today. Sounds like we are going to rock and roll this evening. Wishing you luck on your chasing! Stay safe.

Good luck, hope you get the big one, and you guys were so disappointed today. We had strong winds and a wall cloud today with CG lightning awesome. There were vortices everywhere and the cloud movement was quite violent. If the wind had got stronger i believe that conditions were nearly right. We had a flash flood yesterday which I had to drive through. I was praying for a tub of RainX.
As before watch the skies and play safe

I heard this morning on our local Fox news in KC that several storm chasers were injured while trying to deploy probes last night. I hope it wasn't anyone on your team and whomever it was they were not severely injured.
