Having a bad day? Need to find your place in the universe? Ever feel insignificant? I think you might find the answers in this awesome video. It might not make you feel any better, but it will certainly give you some perspective about our place in the cosmos.

By "place" I mean this tiny speck of dust we live on, orbiting that minute sand grain-sized ball of burning gas...

Awesome!

In case you didn't catch my podcast for the 365 Days of Astronomy project, you aren't even a speck of dust in an arena.

It's actually a complete rip-off of a very successful video on YouTube (see here), but the one I posted here is much higher quality, and much more illustrative. What's that saying... Imitation is the highest form of flattery?
