Diffusing the Power of Energy

Oil exists in some places and not others, creating disruptive concentrations of political and economic power. Renewable energy sources tend to be distributed more evenly across the planet. Substituting renewables for oil will better balance the global distribution of power, thus stabilizing international relations.
