Billy Mays Favorite Moment

Discovery today is mourning the loss of Billy Mays, one of the stars of "Pitchmen." Elizabeth Hillman this morning released a statement about his life and work.

Like many TV viewers, I always got a kick out of Mays' booming voice and showmanship. One of my favorite moments was when he picked up a skunk while advertising an odor removal product.

Mays always outshone whatever he was advertising. I never met or worked with him, but was very sorry to hear of his passing. He and Ed McMahon could be enjoying one heck of a conversation now.
