Scientists Need Your Polar Bear Photographs

Have you ever taken a photograph of a polar bear? If so, you may be able to participate in the world's first major study to identify polar bears by their whisker prints. These are spots that polar bears have near their whiskers. Like fingerprints, they are unique to each individual. Check out the full story at Discovery News.

Your photographs must meet three criteria:

#1- They need to show polar bears in the wild.
#2- They should be dated.
#3- You should have noted the location where you took the photo(s).

The system is comparable to someone sticking a secret web cam in your home or office and snapping you unawares.
