Top Ten New Species

Each year the International Institute for Species Exploration puts out a top ten list of newly discovered species for the previous year. The latest list was just released, and it includes everything from a hot pink bug to a long-dead dino with a bizarre head. The below teasing descriptions come from the IISE. I hope they pique your curiosity to check out the institute's excellent web site. It provides more information, along with an explanation as to how the list was formulated.
