View Harrowing Encounter Between Scientists and Sperm Whales
Emotions run deep in the below footage captured by scientists studying sperm whales off the coast of Northern Chile. The research vessel, with engines turned off, slowly approached drifting sperm whales, which remained oblivious until...Well, you just have to watch and listen to the raw and real audio. Scientists now think the whales were sleeping. If so, this could be the very first footage ever taken of sperm whales sleeping in the open sea.

The video opens here, but I realize that's no help to you. It's a QuickTime movie. I'll check with the blog service to see what the problem could be.-Jen
