DIY: Knitted Halloween Costumes
October 12, 2009
Forget store bought stuff--DIY this year by making your own knitted Halloween costumes. In true Nerdabout tradition all patterns are FREE except the turkey but it was too fabulous to pass up.
For that special Halloween party or anytime of the year. Pony Head Piece by Naughty Needles.
Elvis did have some awesome hair.
Knitted turkey hat available from etsy.com. It's not free but hey, you can wear it for two holidays or any day on the subway just to be noticed.
Like the turkey, this one has a dual purpose. Be a pig for Halloween AND protect yourself during a pandemic.
Monster Mask. We love it in cherry.
OMG. Creepy clown balaclavas. Again a dual purpose mask: scare the children or perfect for criminal activity.
Vikings! Beard Toque and helmet. You can increase size to make it fit your head.
Ahhhh...Lion King

Don't leave your little companions hanging! Knitted punk rock doggie.
Know your cat will kill you after this humiliation. Knitted Lady Liberty hat and torch.
