Was Sonny Bono Killed by Hired "Ruthless Assassins"?

Earlier this month, former FBI agent Ted Gunderson made some shocking allegations that somehow flew under the mainstream media's radar. Gunderson theorized that the former Palm Springs mayor and Republican Congressional representative, Sonny Bono, most famously known as the husband of pop superstar, Cher, was privy to some sensitive information -- so sensitive it got him killed.

According to the Globe, Gunderson believed that Bono's January 5, 1998, fatal skiing accident on the Heavenly Ski resort slopes in Nevada was, in fact, a cover-up. He believes that Bono did not slam into a tree, but rather was beaten to death and that the accident was staged.

"It's nonsense for anyone to now try to suggest that Bono died after crashing into a tree," Gunderson insisted. "There's zero evidence in this autopsy report to show such an accident happened. Instead, there's powerful proof he was assassinated. The former FBI agent-turned-private investigator added, "This was an evil plot that was carried out to almost perfection by ruthless assassins."

Now before you go off wondering what type of Area 51 conspiracy theories this guy is spinning; know this, he is not alone...

IRS Slices Blade: Wesley Snipes Gets Three Years for Failure to Pay Taxes

A-list actor Wesley Snipes, who has appeared in dozens of films including the Blade trilogy, Demolition Man, and Passenger 57, was handed a maximum sentence of three years in his failure to file tax returns case Thursday.

United States District Judge William Terrell Hodges said Snipes exhibited a "history of contempt over a period of time" for the country's tax laws. He added, "In my mind these are serious crimes, albeit misdemeanors."

Assistant Attorney General Nathan J. Hochman of the Justice Department's Tax Division stated, "Snipes' long prison sentence should send a loud and crystal clear message to all tax defiers that if they engage in similar tax defier conduct, they face joining him."

Added United States Attorney Robert O'Neill, "The sentencing court sends the right message to the American taxpayer - you've got to pay your taxes. Rich, poor, it doesn't matter. We all pay our taxes."

According to court documents, Snipes had refused to pay taxes...

H.O.T. Update - Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora Cops Plea for DUI

RichiemugLast month, I wrote about Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora's drunken excursion behind the wheel in Laguna Beach, California. To recap, Sambora, 48, his girlfriend, Jenn Mallini, his and Heather Locklear’s ten-year-old daughter Ava, and her teenage cousin, were in the car when the guitarist was pulled over in Orange County after he was spotted swerving his black Hummer and straddling two lanes.

Sambora peacefully submitted to a breathalyzer test, and the results are in - .13% blood alcohol content level. That's nearly twice the legal standard of .08% in California for which a person is considered to be intoxicated.

Earlier yesterday in a Newport Beach courtroom, the District Attorney's office...
