David Naughton, An American WereWife-Abuser in Vegas
This news really bummed me out. David Naughton, the incredibly likable star of one of the greatest horror films ever made, An American Werewolf in London, has pleaded no contest to domestic battery against his new wife, Seann.
The abuse occurred at 11:57 p.m. on January 28, 2008, in Naughton's Henderson, Nevada home near Las Vegas. Apparently, the 56-year-old, 5'10", 200-pound Naughton began to argue his 45-year-old, 112 pound wife. According to the police report, Naughton then "grabbed her arm and threw her around." Seann threatened to call the police and he "grabbed the phone out of her hand."
Somehow, Seann Naughton managed to contact the authorities. David Naughton took off before they arrived...
