My, y’all have been CHATTY this week! I thought it would be fun to kick off the weekend by highlighting some of the best Groomer Mill blog comments from the past week – look at you, getting your 15 minutes of internet fame! Okay, “fame” may be stretching it a bit, but regardless, I’ll be featuring a new batch every Friday, so keep ‘em coming!

I went with Corgi a la Gwen Stefani, primarily in honor of the fact that my husband and I have decided to get a Corgi puppy this summer - we're naming him (or her?) Gucci! (BTW, any tips or leads on corgi rescues or breeder resources would be GREATLY appreciated, especially something within a four or five hour radius of New York City).

I gotta agree with Dominique here on those blue “ski boots” – dog or human, that’s just a bad fashion statement across the board, period!

Xavier: The Judge You Love to Hate

Simon's evil but with a purpose...to save us from atrocious singing and to give the singers a purpose-to knock our socks off! Is it just me, or does anyone else think Xavier is sort of like a character from a Christopher Guest movie – maybe a Waiting for Guffman/Best in Show hybrid?

Jonathan Jealousy?

He is a celebrity groomer and I know Mariah Carey, he also groomed Janet Jackson's Dog. Grooming dogs is his passion. As a celebrity myself, I know his work ... and will always work with him ... he's got it in the bag.”

I don’t know about Jonathan being an “arse” but as far as MC being tired – agreed! Watching her “mentor” (puhlease) on American Idol this week made me want to claw my eyes out – yes, Mariah, we’re ALL AWARE of your 40,000 octave range – and your implants – thanks!
