Season 5 Begins Tuesday, April 14!

The new season is right around the corner!  That's right, Season 5 officially kicks off Tuesday, April 14, at 9 p.m. E/P.  We know everyone has been waiting patiently and trust us -- it'll be worth every moment.

The crews of the Northwestern, Cornelia Marie, Wizard and Time Bandit all return this year led by your favorite captains.  And joining them are newcomers to the series, the crews of the Lisa Marie and Trailblazer.  Show them all some love and support -- send them a shout-out.  Call them TOLL-FREE and leave a message for your favorite captains and crews.

Am i the only one that thinks this.What happened to crab fishermen being just that crab fishermen;And not actors this show used to be awesome now it;s like a soap opera.Do you really think the doctor calls RIGHT BEFORE THE BOAT TAKES OFF PLEASE DON;T INSULT ME.They do not crabfish for months and months but the docter calls to tell one he does not have cancer-keith on the wizard.Then phils doctor calls just before the boat leaves and says he still has bloodclots and can not fish.Once again something that was true in nature turned hollywood and became A JOKE SADDEST PART IS IT;S NOT FUNNY

I live in Canada and watch Discovery Channel on Bell Satellite and I searched and the show was no where to be found. Anyone got any ideas? I watch every season. I think the same thing happened last season too.

My family thinks I'm crazy..lol..I'm a 42 year old hairstylist and I can't get enough of this show...I even marked it on my calendar so I wouldn't miss the new episode of the season...I'm hooked..and have been for several years now..lol

I first caught the show - the Memorial Day Marathon. Couldn't get me out of the house - I had to see all the episodes! I can't get enought of this show. and I now have a much greater respect when I eat a King crab dinner!!!!!!

Hi,just wanted to let you know how much i love your show.Watching the guys have really helped me get through a tough time.My husband and i were both fans ,even tho he did not catch very many episodes,he was a truck driver.He was diagnosed with cancer April of 2008,in June he was placed on life support for a time,and did not wake up for 6 weeks.For 8 weeks he was in intensive care 120 miles away from our home,so my daughter and i both had a hard time.The staff at the hospital were very good about letting us stay in his room.I spent the 4th of July watching The Deadliest Catch Marathon with him and telling him what was going on,even tho i dont know if he heard me,i like to think maybe he did.On Sept 8th he passed away.He was 45 years old.Our daughter is 24,and we watch together.We love you Sig!Anyway if you ever have a contest where the winner gets to meet the crews of your show,let us know it would really mean alot to let them know that watching them helped what we went through a little more bearable.Thanks

I didn't like the cash cab guy doing the deadliest catch, after the catch session. He is not funny. The show was a flop. Use Mike Rowe no matter what he cost. He is funny, and his show is worth watching.

I LOVE this show. I have not been able to catch the last two seasons but have enjoyed the marathon reruns this weekend. I have missed a lot! I hope to also catch the reruns of season 5 soon.
