Show Them Some Love
February 17, 2009
We're only a couple of months away from a brand-new season of Deadliest Catch, and what better way to commemorate this recent Valentine's Day than an update on the guys you love so much -- your FAVORITE fishermen!
As you may already know, opilio season has begun and the guys are in the thick of it. The crews have long since departed Dutch Harbor, and they're hard at work dropping pots on the Bering Sea.
Well, what else can you look forward to this April? Wait 'til you meet the newest addition to the fleet: the crew of the Lisa Marie fishing vessel. Capt. Wade Henley leads his crew of five aboard this lovely lady. With a capacity of only 55 pots, she's the smallest boat fishing in the fleet this year. Show them some love and post a comment below!
In the meantime, stay on top of all things Catch on the fansite. Visit the Wiki and share your excitement for Season 5. And, watch new Catch video on the site, starting with a recap of Season 4 -- Quick Catch, Episode 1!
Be patient Catch friends -- the guys will be back VERY soon!
The Deadliest Catch Production Crew

A big warm welcome to the crew of the Lisa Marie. I add you to the list of fishermen I pray for as I watch from the safety of my sofa. Wishing you safety and success, I can hardly wait to see how the season goes when the show airs. God Bless.

While I am totally dependent on seeing every show over & over, I really don't like the idea of this tiny ship being out there in the winter... The excitement of the big ships and some harrowing near misses is plenty for me, a little ship out there really cranks up the tension and for me, I find the show with the big guys more than enough drama... I will worry myself to a coronary about them! Phil Harris had me on the verge of a nervous breakdown! I really like this guy and it would be horrible if something happened to him!!! That was enough excitement for me!!!!!!!!!!!!
