One itty bitty sleeping Dormouse? Check!

One itty bitty sleeping Dormouse who snores like a trucker? Just shut the front door.

What the heck is a Dormouse? Does it live in, around or near doors? The answer to that is no - the word "dormouse" comes from the Anglo-Norman dormeus, which means "sleepy (one)."

Other Dormouse factoids:

1) The dormouse is a little rodent species found in Britain and it hibernates in the winter in nests they hide on the ground.

2) Dormouses (Dormeece?) spend up to one-third of their life in hibernation, and typically begin a winter "sleep" when the first frost hits, and their food sources are gone.

Thanks to the folks at BoingBoing for sending this our way!
