dog eats $1000 in cashDog literally puts money where her mouth is

Dogs are not necessarily discriminating about what they put in their mouths. Cat poop, pillows, shoes, toilet paper are just a sampling of odd canine cuisine choices for these indiscriminate diners and Tuity the dog has raised the odd canine cuisine bar to an all-time high.

When an envelope stuffed full of $1000 in cash went missing, Christy and Joe Lawrenson thought someone had broken into their Florida home, but it soon became clear that their dog, Tuity, had given herself an expensive treat. A VERY expensive treat.

Mrs. Lawrenson had left ten $100 dollar bills in the envelope for her husband to take to the bank for a car payment. But the couple's four-year-old dog, a Labrador Retriever mix, managed to get her paws on it first and snatch it from a counter! The Lawrenson's are trying to pay off their car and so every time they save $1,000 in cash, they take it to the bank.  But when Mr Lawrenson returned home in St Augustine, Florida he discovered pieces of one-hundred dollar bills scattered across the floor and a guilty dog sitting nearby. The rest of the cash, including a paper clip used to pin the cash together, was in Tuity's stomach.

"I saw one $100 dollar bill almost ripped in half on the floor," Mr Lawrenson told the St Auguistine Record. "I found like three or four pieces around the house. I thought somebody broke in originally."

After inducing the dog to cough up the cash, the Lawrensons were able to piece together $900 of the original cache by sorting through Tuity's vomit. YUCK! The things we'll do for money!

What is the wierdest thing your pet has ever eaten?
