What We're Loving: Dyson's 'Animal'
09/15/2011
It sucks, but in a really good way.
It's been said that a pet lover is never fully dressed without a bit of dog/cat hair to complete their look. However, there are those occasions where it would be nice to not be covered in dog hair everytime you get in or out of your car floor or sit on the couch - right? Nothing is more embarrasing than seeing a houseguest get up from the couch with dog hair all over their money maker.
That is where the fantastic-ness of Dyson's new DC25 Animal comes into play. It is technically against my religion to get excited about household appliances, let alone a vacuum, but any vacuum that is designed specifically for pet owners and can remove the dog hair that's been permanently stuck in the cieling of my car for the last 2 years makes me excited.
Dyson's DC25 Animal is a lightweight and powerful vacuum specifically designed for homes with pets. Its mini turbine head removes dirt and pet hair from carpets, upholstery and tight spaces and its washable HEPA filter traps microscopic allergens. Equipped with Dyson's special Ball technology, this upright vacuum cleaner easily twists and turns around furniture and obstacles for thorough cleaning throughout the house--no more missed angles or tiresome back-and-forth vacuuming!
Dogs still suspicous of new Animal
As excited as I was to welcome this fab new vacuum into my home, my dogs, as suspected, are still suspicious of it and find it off-putting, despite it's quiet hum and patented technology. In fact, this photo of Lulu and Zazou seated next to the DC25 Animal required the dispensation of no less than eight treats to get them to sit anywhere near it. My third dog Kiki would have none of it and left the room.
