Bliss Beneath the Surface: Diving Doggies

There are hundreds, if not thousands of books already published about dogs, but Diving Doggies: A Celebration of Play Underwater is fantastically different. Beautifully photographed by photographer Brooke Mayo, the book features dogs suspended and weightless - enjoying the freedom of play underwater - as they dive to the bottom of the pool or ocean in search of their favorite toy.

A photographer whose career started with photographing dancers, Brooke created the whimsical book to provide a unique look at the faces of dogs as they splash, dive and swim through water, and she does an incredible job capturing the spirit of each one of her subjects as they find their bliss beneath the surface. In fact, many of the dogs look like they are indeed dancing underwater!
