1968 Galaxie - Submitted by Butch
"This is my 1968 Galaxie XL GT with original 390 big block C-6 transmission, console shift. One of 1800 made in '68 and I'm the second owner. Originally special ordered out of Seattle, Wa. where I lived at the time. Found her sitting in a farmers field, it was the wife's car. Mostly original, with the exception of the lincoln rear disc brakes ( @ 4100 lbs. she needs the extra help) and the modern 17" rims and lo-pro z rated tires. Lowered 4" in the rear and 2" in the front to get a better stance than the jacked up stance of the sixties. "

It looks good, but the wheels and tires are killing it. If you want 17's then you need bigger tires. If you want very low profile tires then you need to go with MUCH bigger wheels. You need to fill the wheel wells my friend.
