Family of Morgan Dana Harrington Share 'Special Message'
October 22, 2009
It has been four days since anyone has seen Morgan Dana Harrington, a 20-year-old Virginia Tech student who went missing during a Metallica concert in Charlottesville, VA. Despite their best efforts, authorities still not know Morgan's current whereabouts or the exact details of what happened to her. Nevertheless, Morgan's parents, Dan and Gil Harrington, are not yet ready to give up hope, as is evident in a statement that was released this afternoon by a family spokesperson.
"Dr. Harrington and his wife have asked that the following message be shared with everyone possible," the statement reads. "The Harrington's have a special message of love they communicate with one another verbally, in notes, and even in signing."
The message, according to the statement, looks like this:
According to the statement, the Harrington's believe if the message is shared with others Morgan will experience "love, comfort and peace."
T-shirts and other items bearing the Harrington's special message will be available tonight at a vigil that is scheduled to take place at Northside High school in Roanoke, Virginia. The vigil will be held on the football field at 7:00 p.m.
Morgan Harrington is described as a white female, 5' 6" tall, weighing 120 pounds, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with "Pantera" written across the front in tan lettering, a black mini skirt, black tights and black knee-high boots.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the tip line at 434-352-3467, or contact authorities by e-mail at bci-appomattox@vsp.virginia.gov.

She may have gone outside the building to use the phone to locate her friends after using the restroom. Perhaps the signal was bad inside the concrete building or perhaps it was too noisy to hear. It had been raining for several days. If your phone connection is bad or battery dead, it is common to take it out to dry it off in case the problem was moisture.

So true Anne! The reception is terrible inside most arenas. Which could explain allot about why she didn't go back inside. Maybe her friends had the keys to her car and she couldn't get them back. But some arenas have smoking areas and you can come back in, apparently JPJ did not or she didn't know there was an outdoor smoking area. If she knew about the outdoor area, if there is one there, then she didn't go outside to locate her friends. If the authorities can verify a smoking area, I would lean to foul play or bad judgment by Morgan which led to being locked out without keys to her car and finding a place to wait. Best place to wait? By your car hoping someone can slimJim you in.

If I'm Your Next Victim
"You" and those like you, who makes such a beautiful place
"God created called Earth" so unsafe, here's some food for thought
for you today, you hide in unseen places waiting for unsuspecting
faces, who are unaware of your deadly stare, how did your life get
on such an evil course? Is your heart still there, do it have remorse?
It's you who will die a million deaths, yet never die, because there's
no room for you up high. Hell will drop lower to accomodate your
rottening soul, my face is what you'll see everytime your eyes close!
"If I'm A child" you have taken, thoes of you who search for me and pray
for my safety from my heart you are appreciated, yet if in thier twisted
mind they decide my demise, my body please don't hide, so I'm returned
to those who truly love me, for once in your life, do something right!
Also deliver this message to my family & friends, tell them to live life to
the fullest for me and for them, and not to let an animal such as yourself take
away thier happiness, this poem's sadly a sign of the times, it was created in
the hopes of changing minds, about committing such unthinkable crimes!
I've chosen to be another voice for those who's voice has been stubbed out
or silenced from your unsuspecting, undeserving and unnecessary violence!
So " If I'm Your Next Victim" and I pray to "God" I'm not
I pray that it means either voluntarily or forced
" Your Crime Spree Has Stopped! "
