The police report says that Haleigh has Turner Syndrome. These 2 people do not seem capable of caring for such a high maintenance little child (heart dz, cognitive issues, etc.)

I find it very hard to believe that the girlfriend went to the bathroom and didn't hear anyone come into the house. One; as a mother when I was home alone with my children I made sure the doors were locked with chairs shoved underneath the door handle and the windows were locked as well. Two; Haleigh has Turner Syndrome which causes problems with social skills, anyone coming into the home and attempting to remove Haleigh would have been met with some hostility from her which the girlfriend would have heard. Having to care for a child who has various health problems due to her diagnosis, that happens to be your boyfriends child, and only being 17 y.o leads me to believe the girlfriend is involved somehow. Obviously the bio mom had a diffucult time caring for Haleigh which is why the dad had her and he entrusted Haleigh's medical care into a young girls care which may have proved to be too much of a burden for the girlfriend.

I feel she has been taken north, into or beyond georgia. I see smoky mountains, a white sedan and a lake.

My prayers and heartfelt concern go out to Haleigh... I pray for her safe return and that her future has caregivers that will give her the love she so greatly deserves. As the mother of a daughter who also has TS, the journey is very much "the road less traveled" but TS girls are so very precious, eager to please, and loving. My heart breaks for this little girl... she deserves to be understood and I pray for her with such great concern.

I agree these children need to go live w/ the real mother, once god willing haleigh is found, her father has to work and it's clear cristy hasn't grown up, she can't take care of her self much less 2-kids, so i'm with ms, sheffield on this one, take your kids home.

I wonder if the police have checked previous home owners and/or renters of this home. Reason being they might still have a key, and know the layout of the home.

What are the symptoms of Turner Syndrome? I have never heard of it...

Please get accurate information at tsus.org. Turner Syndrome is not necessarily high maintenance. It is definitely not associated with hostile behavior. It is not at all associated with any deficit in overall intelligence, although perhaps visual-spatial tasks may be more difficult. Individuals with TS should be screened for some possible symptoms, such as heart and kidney abnormalities, hearing loss, and low thyroid. The only symptoms that are almost always associated with TS are short stature (if untreated with growth hormone) and infertility.
How do I know? I have lived with TSUS for 50 years. I am a happily married lawyer and former teacher, in excellent health, without medical or educational problems. For me, TS just means having to get a step stool when needed; I am 4'7". Younger individuals who are treated with growth hormone can attain a height that is within the low end of the normal range (5'1", 5'2").
The bottom line. TS individuals do lead normal lives and can adopt children

Fact: Ronald always locked the back door before he left for work.
Comment: Door unlocked and block to prop open door.
Fact: Light on in kitchen near back door.
Comment: Dah, who turns on a light before entering a home. Hello, everyone, I've come to get Haleigh?????
Fact: Perp traveled across trailer to bedroom.
Comment: How did the perp know where Haleigh was?
Fact: Took Haleigh w/o any noise or notice from adult and another child.
Comment: Someone wouldv'e been disturbed and awaken.
Fact: Underage child 17 y/o went to bathroom at time Ronald is expected to come home.
Comment: What a coincidence???
Fact: Misty listens and does whatever Ronald says to do.
Fact: Serious drugs in the household--not just marijuana, which is bad enough.
Fact. Ronald is a perp with an underage child.
Fact. Misty just "allegedly" had sex with a man even older than Ronald just a few days before.
Fact. Misty's mother doesn't give a darn about her daughter agrees to let her marry Ronald.
Fact. Ronald's mother is an enabler. Her son could do no wrong.
Fact. There is aleged abuse--There usually is with drugs in the home.
This must be fantasy island where anything goes. Pedophiles, druggies, murderers, abuse, sex, lies, etc. They'll probably get a book deal or movie out of this. Only in America!
