Remains Found Believed to be Caylee Anthony
December 11, 2008
I just received a call from a source close to the investigation in the case of Casey Anthony and her missing two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.
Investigators believe the remains found today by a meter reader at the intersection of Suburban Drive and Chickasaw are Caylee Anthony; however DNA tests will be needed to make a positive identification.
The source claims the remains were found in a plastic bag with duct tape.
According to a spokesperson with Texas EquuSearch, the area where the remains were found could not be searched during the first search effort because the area was under water. During the second search effort the area was fenced off.
Keep checking back for more details on this breaking development.

Whoever that poor child is, god bless them. Such a tragic world we live in.
Also, RIP to Baby P.

Oh gawd.... I want to throw up. I hope it is not her but still very very sad that anyone could put a child in a bag and duct tape it shut. I want to cry right now for whoever that is.

They found her. May she rest in peace now. Now nail that mother to the wall...

If it is just skeletal remains, what are the chances of determining the cause of death?

Casey - You are going to be at the bottom of the food chain in prison. I can't wait.
Caylee - you deserved so much better than this.

TO GEORGE AND CINDY - my heartfelt sympathies are with you. Please know that many many people cared about little Caylee without even knowing her. I hope you can find strength in that. You are living everyone's worst nightmare and despite public opinion to date, I believe most of us feel great sadness for you now.

i hope this mystery is solved- i wish they would say if the bag looked newly dumped or was it dirty look washed up???
they never tell good info.
im also very upset about casey saying THAT GIRl she has no love for her own child- the interviews of her and her parents make me sick- i would never play along with my child and go along like things are ok- there not! and the whole interview was odd- casey also admitted she was guilty of stealing from her parents and her friend amy- she pleaded not guilty in court. her attorney is making too many mistakes- all the truth will come out in court. )of course not by casey or her defense!

Remember Casey said "they haven't even found her clothes yet?" Sounds like there was nothing identifiable on the body to determine boy or girl so that falls into Casey's comment. Trash bag, close to her home? Matches the pings on Casey's phone... sounds like she has been found. You don't have to be a detective to figure this one out. If it's not Caylee, than who? All signs point to it being Caylee. May she rest in peace. I'm so relieved that she has been found. A sad day for all who have followed this case.

Caylee has touched so many people's lives across the nation. To George, Cindy, Lee, and the others who were privileged to know her, our hearts go out to you. We know you are going through hell, although we can't imagine the true extent of the horror you've been through. I'm fervently praying that your personal journies lead you to the truth, and hopefully to some degree of peace.
God bless you, Caylee.

That's so sad. At least there will be closure, and hopefully some strong evidence, enough even to maybe put the possibility of Casey getting the lethal injection.
I'm curious if the location was in or near an area that had been searched? When I saw the location of the remains and the location of the Anthony house, I was shocked at how close it was.

If it is Caylee does the utility work receive the reward money?

Anyone! Who could do such a thing to an innocent child deserves the ultimate punishmate!! To sit and torture someone you gave birth to is a sick thing. I Casey get EXACTLY what she deserves.

I hope that it is the precious angel, Caylee. I have followed this case since the beginning. As the mother of an 11 year old daughter and 10 month old son, I cannot imagine doing this to any child, let along my own. At least, this will bring closure to the many people who loved this precious child without even knowing her. As for her "family", I am not sure what I wish for them; however, at least she is at peace now in God's arms where she can never be looked at as a nuisance or a snothead, as her mother so hatefully labeled her. She touched alot of people's lives who only knew her through her televised pictures.

The hair is still in the bag. It takes alot longer for hair to decompose.
So that will prove Caylee was in Casey's car trunk.

Yes, everyone is truly sorry about the fact that a child was brutally murdered!
But listen: Who in that Anthony family has ever accepted responsibility for any bad behavior? Unfortunately, this family is straight out of aberant psychology profiles.
So that I may make my opinion clear, did you ever know a mother and child relationship where the child would never be accused of wrong-doing, or repremanded, or punished?
Its always somebody elses fault according to the parents! What you are witnessing her is the combined internal family neurosis/perhaps psychosis----that killed a little girl probably because Caysee felt tied-down with the responsibility of motherhood. Their punishment awaits.

this is so sad. i almost got sick when i heard...i mean it has been the most expected response, but i was hopeful that it would be wrong. as a mother of a 2.5 year old, i will never understand how a mother or anyone does something terrible to a child.
i would like to know why the area was fenced off during the second search??? didn't george anthony go to a park area? was it this one? they needed this discovery before they postponed her trial until march. too much time for casey to off herself. i want answers!
george, cindy and lee deserve answers! the great grandparents need answers! it's time to start talking and don't stop until those mourning have the closure they need!

The Orlando Sentinel mentioned that there are no other cases of missing children in Orange County. We'll have to stay tuned of course, but as of now it looks like they've found her.
If they can match the hair and duct tape to what they found in the car I think it'll be a "slam dunk" case if the DA doesn't botch things up.
It'll be interesting to hear the "spin job" Baez does now.
I do feel bad for the grandparents as I do believe they loved Caylee while Casey didn't care about her own daughter.

did anyone else read between the lines in the most recent jail house converstaion between Cindy and Casey???!!
Cindy asks "where do you think Caylee is" Casey answers, "she is close by and I think she is okay"
Read between the lines...Casey is really saying, "the body is close by and hidden and won't be found, therefore "okay". Listen to the conversation knowing now that Caylee was found and where.
Cindy: pleae stop enabling Casey, its ruining her. You're all in our prayers..but, when you arrive at the "pearly gates", you better be a smooth talker!

This will not be Caylee either!!!!! They planted this on the day the prosecutor was due to present evidence linking Casey to murder. They did not have more than personal opinons to offer in her case, so they bought more time planting a skull near the Anthony home to take the heat off. The bones in the lake were not Caylee's, there was no DNA in the car that belonged to Caylee and nobody is listening to Casey. When she told the truth, her friends made a liar out of her. Nobdy will listen. They did not find Caylee like your headlines state.

Many little girls and boys are murdered every day by abortionists. Why don't people get upset by that?

I want to cry...

I don't want it to be her, yet at the same time I do just to end the nightmare :(

I also have been watching this case since it first appeared on Nancy Grace and I for one have a lot of questions:
Why was Lee's girlfriend in the Anthony house when the police got there?
Why has Lee been out of the media's eyes for weeks and all of a sudden shows up at his parents house the same morning the remains were found? (police kept him from going in the house)
I'm sorry but, I think Lee and his girlfriend were up to something and they know more than they are letting on. I mean come on...Lee and Casey were/are very close...
-Edited by David Lohr to include: I have been told that she was feeding the family pets while the Anthony's were in California-

It's a shame there is so much blame going around in this case honestly...I won't point fingers here but have decided to wait for CONCRETE evidence. I feel for this family as I am sure there are some innocent ones and some guilty ones. But let's all remember here the only one that is allowed to judge people is GOD !!! That is not up to us instead we shall just believe GOD will handle it in his own way , on his terms and when he believes the time is right.

My question- who paid for the fence and put it up since the team searched the area and it was wet and underwater -only three months ago.Why after all these years unfenced did the area need to be fenced in the last 90 calender days
.Is there some type of conspiracy with somone being paid off to put up the fence and protect the remains or move theremians there after the fence was put up.
Possibly someone who slept with Casey had connections with the zoning approval for fences or private owner somehow connected?
If the fence was put up only since the ground was dry this had to be in the last 3 months.Usually you cannot put a fence up without clearing the vegetation and weeds and digging holes for the posts then adding the chainklink. So who put the fence up and also why did noone from the fence company or surveying notice the bag which if the ground was dry wnough the bag would of been aboveground by now

Hey Deb is that you Cindy in disguise?
Posted by: RJ | December 12, 2008 at 10:08 PM
Hi RJ
I agree- I was like what???***&&&
I was tired of hearing the same ol things- it was like beating a dead horse- relief finally and then you get this craziness from DEB- Cindy?! haha
Posted by: kris | December 15, 2008 at 06:34 PM
Is this person DEB for real. Like the police have nothing better to do then frame Casey. Nobody in their right mind would even believe such nonsense, unless like RJ said "Is this really Cindy". In any case, this poor little baby can finally be laid to reat.

i just think this is awful what happened
and for anyone who does not beleive she killed her child, open your eyes.
i would not be able to go a minute let alone a month not knowing where my child is.
she is sick and she needs help its sad that this happened.
the ones who truely cared about this child need answers and deserve them, and another thing there is noway the police are trying to frame her.they just want answers like everyone else
