Casey Anthony's "Dream Team"
December 15, 2008
Jose Baez, lead attorney for Casey Anthony (mother of two-year-old Caylee Anthony), has assembled a seasoned team of defense attorneys and forensic experts for his client's impending first-degree murder trial. Investigation Discovery has compiled a bio on each of those experts to give you a better understanding of who they are and what they do.
Jose Baez
Baez is Casey Anthony's lead defense attorney. According to his Web site, Baez is a former criminologist who received a B.S. degree in criminology from Florida State University.
"Mr. Baez began working for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's office in 1995. He immediately created a reputation as a fierce advocate who fought his cases until the very end and also distinguished himself by creating a division record for the most trials where he won 32 of 34 jury trials within his first two years with the office. (It should be noted that one of his two losses was a reversed appeal)."
Prior to opening his own private practice, Baez worked for Lexis-Nexis, where he taught judges, lawyers, and law students about methods of using the Internet for investigation.
Baez has been involved in several high-profile cases in Florida, including the defense of Nilton Diaz, Kissimmee Mayor George Gant, and Elvira Garcia.
Linda Kenney Baden
A new member of Jose Baez's defense team, Baden is a New York attorney who specializes in forensic evidence. Baden has been doing forensic work since the 1980s when she was in the prosecutor's office in New Jersey. She is the wife of Dr. Michael M. Baden, a medical doctor and board-certified forensic pathologist, who is also the host of HBO's Autopsy.
Baden has been involved in several high-profile cases, including the recent defense of music producer Phil Spector. Baden is also well known for her analysis in the controversial death of supermodel Anna Nicole Smith.
Terence Lenamon
Lenamon is a Miami criminal defense attorney who recently joined Baez's defense team.
According to WFTV.com, Lenamon has defended several high-profile clients, including Harrel Franklin Braddy, who is known as "The Miami Strangler," and accused killer Wadada Delhall.
In both of those cases, Lenamon’s clients were sentenced to death.
Jose Luis Garcia
Another member of Baez's defense team, Garcia has experience in both family and criminal law.
Garcia attended Barry University School of Law, where he received his J.D. He continued his undergraduate education and obtained his B.A. degree at Florida International University. His professional associations and memberships include the American Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Young Lawyers Association, and Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Garcia's previous legal experience includes a stint as a public defender in Orlando's Ninth Judicial Circuit Court.
Dr. Henry Chang-Yu Lee
Dr. Henry Chang-Yu Lee is the current Chief Emeritus for Scientific Services for the State of Connecticut and one of the founders of the Henry C. Lee Forensic Institute. He has worked on several high-profile cases, including the O.J. Simpson and Laci Peterson cases.
According to his Web site, Dr. Lee is a "legendary investigator [who] is known for finding the tiniest clues. He has even solved a murder without a body. Over the past 40 years, Lee assisted in the investigations of more than 6,000 cases, including war crimes in Bosnia and Croatia; the suicide of President Clinton's former White House attorney, Vince Foster; review of the JFK assassination; and the death of JonBenet Ramsey."
A native of Rugao City, China, Lee obtained a degree in Police Science from Central Police College in 1960. He went on to become captain of the Taipei Police Department. In 1972, Lee moved to the United States and enrolled in the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, where he obtained a B.S. in Forensic Science. Afterwards, he enrolled in New York University, where he earned an M.S. and a Ph. D. in Biochemistry. Since that time, he has received honorary degrees from several universities, including American International College, Bridgeport University, Williams Law School, Saint Joseph College, and the University of New Haven.
Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky
Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky is the Associate Provost of the Interdisciplinary Forensics Science Department at John Jay College. He is also a consultant to attorneys in the areas of forensic biology, serology, and DNA analysis.
According to the John Jay College Web site, Kobilinsky's primary area of expertise is DNA. His research interests, according to the site, "concern the use of state-of-the-art technology to identify individuals from physiological fluids and tissues, and to associate biological crime scene evidence with a suspect."
Dr. Kobilinsky received his B.S. and M.A. degrees from the City College of the City University of New York and his Ph.D. degree from the City University of New York. Dr. Kobilinsky is a Diplomat of the American College of Forensic Examiners and a Board Certified Forensic Examiner. His honors include the Federal Law Enforcement Officers "Civilian Award."
A television consultant to CBS and CNN, Dr. Kobilinsky has authored and co-authored several books, including DNA: Forensic and Legal Applications, Forensic DNA Analysis, and Forensic Chemistry Handbook.
Dr. Kathy Reichs
A native of Chicago, Dr. Reichs earned her Ph.D. at Northwestern University. A former consultant to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in North Carolina, she currently consults for the Laboratoire de Sciences Judiciaires et de Médecine Légale in the province of Québec.
Dr. Reich is the author of several bestselling books, including Deja Dead, Bare Bones, and Devil Bones.
"From teaching FBI agents how to detect and recover human remains, to separating and identifying commingled body parts in her Montreal lab, as a forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs has brought her own dramatic work experience to her mesmerizing forensic thrillers," reads her online bio. "Dr. Reichs has traveled to Rwanda to testify at the UN Tribunal on Genocide, and helped exhume a mass grave in Guatemala. As part of her work at JPAC (formerly CILHI) she aided in the identification of war dead from World War II, Korea, and Southeast Asia."
Dr. Reichs is one of only seventy-seven forensic anthropologists who have been certified by the American Board of Forensic Anthropology.
Dr. Timothy Huntington
Dr. Huntington is the Assistant Professor of Biology at Concordia University in Nebraska, where he teaches Principles of Biology, Elements of Anatomy and Physiology, Entomology, Gross Anatomy I & II, Zoology, and Community Ecology.
After receiving a B.S. at Concordia University in 2002, Dr. Huntington went on to get an M.S. in 2005 and a Ph.D. in 2008.
According to Concordia's Web site, Dr. Huntington first taught at the university in 2003 as an adjunct faculty member. This past year, he joined the Natural Science Department as a full-time faculty member.
According to his online bio, "His teaching emphasis is in organismal biology, and his research interests focus on forensic entomology (the use of insects as evidence in legal investigations), carrion ecology, and taphonomy."
Dr. Huntington has been a consultant on more than fifty death investigations in the U.S. and in four foreign countries. In 2007 he was the recipient of Concordia’s Young Alumnus of the Year Award.
Dr. Werner Spitz
A native of Israel, Dr. Spitz is a Professor of Pathology at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan; Adjunct Professor of Pathology at the University of Windsor in Canada; and a forensic pathology and toxicology consultant. A former Wayne County medical examiner, Dr. Spitz is considered to be one of the most experienced and well-respected forensic pathologists in the United States.
According to the Wayne State University Web site, Dr. Spitz has published more than ninety scientific articles in medical journals as well as a textbook.
"He has testified numerous times in high-profile cases, including the wrongful death suit against O.J. Simpson, and has testified before the House of Representatives regarding the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Jr. and Martin Luther King, Jr. During his 52 years as a forensic pathologist, he has either performed or supervised well over 60,000 autopsies."
Some of the more notable autopsies Dr. Spitz has conducted include those of JonBenet Ramsey, Nicole Brown-Simpson, and Mary Jo Kopechne.
In one of his more recent cases, Dr. Spitz testified for the defense in the Phil Spector murder trial.

Just out of curiosity, who is footing the bill for all these people?

All these people can say is 1.) Kid is Caylee; 2.) she's dead. None of these can explain the mountain of lies that Casey has said and done, or her behavior when Caylee disappeared off the radar.
None of them can explain the behavior of the Anthonys and why both of them immediately thought a decomposing body had been in the trunk. Forget the science - a nurse and a police officer - parents of the murderer, grandparents of the victim - thought there was a dead baby in the trunk and said it on tape and before witnesses. Good luck!
Whatever...

Didn't Scott Peterson have a "Dream Team" also? The Truth should prevail.
Posted by: J. Ramsey | December 15, 2008 at 09:34 PM
Any defense team Jose Baez leads is ANYTHING but a 'dream' - Jose Baez thinks "disjustice" is word!
Sure, Jose Baez went to a bottom-tier law school (St. Thomas), but you'd think the school would at least have required their graduates to be able to read, write & speak English at a the 8th grade level before granting them a degree!

I taught my daughter not to become a defending prosecutor because they are as guilty as thier clients. How could anyone defend people like O J Simpson Phil Spector Miami Strangler and feel proud of getting them off the Hook. Sorry Big Sick Nightmare Team . Casey's parents have already lived thru part of the nightmare why do you need to put them thru more, Casey needs to tell the truth. And no it wasn't a babysitter and your dream teams knows it.
Posted by: Barb | December 15, 2008 at 10:04 PM
Wow, Phil Spector's team features heavily in this line up.
But how is that people keep forgetting Dr. Henry Lee's behavior during the Phil Spector trial, as well as the judge's findings that he manipulated crime scene evidence? I hardly ever see that mentioned in connection with his name anymore....
Posted by: Amy | December 15, 2008 at 10:14 PM
Thanks for all the info David. I was curious who was on the team.

i hope that with these high profiled experts theres some chance for justice for caylee. i bout fell out of my chair the more i read your list of experts
Posted by: ed | December 15, 2008 at 10:24 PM
I am stunned that such respected forensic experts like Dr. Lee are signed up to defend this person. What exactly are they going to try and say? The odor of death was old pizza? The skull is not Caylee?? I would expect them to be working for the prosecution!!
Posted by: Paul | December 15, 2008 at 10:25 PM
WOW...that's all I can say...
Posted by: Calimomof2 | December 15, 2008 at 10:26 PM
This is not good news. What many people fail to realize is that the burden of proof is on the prosecution and all a jury needs is reasonable doubt. If Casey sticks to the Zanni story this team might just be able to plant that little seed of doubt in the minds of the jury. I believe in my heart that she's guilty but I also believe O.J. Simpson is guilty, we all know how that turned out. The defense may say that she's a liar but not a murderer. Even though little Caylee's remains have been found the prosecution still has to prove her psychopathic mother killed her.

These Bio's left out a few things. Lee's fingernail incident in the Spector trial. Lee's ketchup demo at the M. Peterson trial. M. Baden's flip flopping testimony in the Spector trial.

all these people are for casey for 1 reason publicity they think about their self just like the very quilty casey anthony i hope caylee haunts her eyes out everynight so casey can suffer for ever and ever until her death

Jose Baez (barely) passed the bar in 2005!
In fact, 8 years elapsed between the time Baez (barely) finished law school and the date he first wrote the bar exam.
Jose Baez has misrepresented his legal experience by listing the outcomes of cases he was involved with AS A STUDENT with his school’s legal clinic (where a student’s work is closely supervised by review counsel, and often involves little more than putting on a suit and observing experienced lawyers ‘do their thing’) is beneath contempt.
If such deceit is not grounds for disbarment in Florida, it ought to be!

I used to think very highly of Dr. Henry Lee. Until he went "Hollywood"....As a forensic science undergrad, and now law student interning at the District Attorneys office, I have learned that both sides are "corrupt"..Both sides cut corners...Although I think she is so beyond guilty, I hope that some sort of evidence comes out so as to make it even more obvious than it is...How could anyone hurt such an adorable little girl...she is the perfect argument in favor of "parental regulation"!!! Hopefully justice is will prevail here. Especially when its an innocent 3 year old!

Sure the burden of proof is on the prosecution, but the defense is going to have to come into court with something believable. And today, right now, this minute would be a good time for Casey to fess up and lead law enforcement to *the* Zenaida. Not the one at the made up address, but the *real* Zenaida if she thinks this kidnapping defense is going to fly.
I don't fault an attorney for working the defense side of the courtroom in the least, but I am surprised that some of these folks are willing to work with the legendary Henry Lee after the Spector Spectacle. Maybe he shouldn't be trusted with the "tiniest" clues.
Thanks for the lowdown!

I am curious and am sure, I think that LE has investigated, but if you go to the orange county sexual offender registry and type in the Anthony's address on Hopespring drive within one mile you come up with 12 registered offenders. One is a female name Suzanne . Two of these offenders are within .3 miles and just as close to the area where the body was found. If you search for offenders within 2 miles, there are about 37. Has LE ruled out all of these people as well. In the very beginning I was thinking maybe one of these people befreinded her and she let them take or watch Caylee and they took her. Hey, we know Casey did it, but I would think the defense would be looking at these folks as another scape goat. Hey, maybe in the "Anthony Speak Code Book" Zannie is Cindy Anthony or maybe even Casey. Soon we will have truth I hope. Iagree, CA knew when she smelled death it was Casey, if she had thought otherwise she never would have touched possible evidence. She would have preserved everything so the "real culprit" could be caught, after all what Zannie had put Caylee in the trunk and used those pants to wipe herself off and then LE could have found "Zannie's hair and DNA". Well, it didn't happen that way as we all know.
Posted by: walkslikeaduck | December 16, 2008 at 01:03 AM
Oh, and if they do try the Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez route they better be prepared to find every single one on the planet.
Posted by: walkslikeaduck | December 16, 2008 at 01:06 AM
The big Question is who's pay'n for all this the Anthony's,if so where is the nut case [Cindy ] gett'n all the funds.
This case will make the OJ saga look like a walk thru disney land.I think Baez is getting a side order of Casey!!She has to answer for actions one day, when the growlies come for her she will know it and in the we shall meet...
If she's afraid in jail now just wait till she get too the big show, [prison] gonna be some bull dikes B****.

Dr. Spitz did not perform the autopsy on JonBenet Ramsey. He reviewed the case file and hundreds of slides and photos but the local coroner performed the autopsy.
Dr. Spitz was horrible on the stand in the Spector case. Judge Larry Paul Fidler in the Spector case ruled that Dr. Lee was "not credible" when testifying outside the presence of the jury on the discovery hearing regarding the missing piece of evidence.
I was in the courtroom when Dr. Baden testified on the stand that he did not know what "confict of interest means." He said that was a legal term.
Every one of these experts was, imho, destroyed in cross examination by the prosecutor, Alan Jackson.
Posted by: Sprocket | December 16, 2008 at 02:32 AM
Well, if this same case happened in Detroit and to a young black woman, I doubt she would have them lining up to defend her. I am very dissapointed. Let the defense hire the best the can find- that way when the experts all have the same findings they can't cry later on that it's not accurate.
Posted by: Hollie | December 16, 2008 at 03:51 AM
Judging by the sheer number of "experts" on this team, this looks like several hundred thousands dollars of "defence". Hmmmmmmmm- Casey was stealing gas to fill her car, George & Cindy are prostituting themselves on TV to make a few bucks, Lee was withdrawing from the 'help find Caylee fund' to help himself. These so-called experts aren't going to waste a year of their lives for publicity alone. Casey must have a 'sugar-daddy' hidden away somewhere. I hope she rots!
Posted by: Lorraine | December 16, 2008 at 04:24 AM
The selection of a 'dream team' seems almost like an admission of guilt at this point. If I were a defence attorney, I would start putting together a line-up like that if I knew my biggest obsticle was how to get around the truth/evidence. It will be interesting to see if that backfires for the defence.
Posted by: karen | December 16, 2008 at 05:11 AM
someone else described them the other day as the "Scheme Team".
lol!
Posted by: protectkidz | December 16, 2008 at 06:48 AM
Er- I have a question- Does anyone wonder how the defense is paying for the "dream team"?
The engagement fee and retainers for these folks are no less than $100k a piece- where is the money coming from?
Also- to announce these consultants prior to them reviewing any atucal evidence is disingenuous, imo. If they find anything inculpatory they are subpoenable by the prosecution, I am hoping for that :)
Posted by: Blink34 | December 16, 2008 at 08:22 AM
How are they going to pay these people? The A's don't have a pot to pee in! Casey lied to Baez about having $5,000 in the bank for his retainer, which (of course)he found out later was a lie just like everything else!
Posted by: liz g | December 16, 2008 at 08:28 AM
Is it a typo that Baez started working for the public defender's office in 1995? Was he working there prior to earning his JD? Baez has only been a member of the FL bar since 9/22/2005.
Posted by: cb | December 16, 2008 at 08:36 AM
Can someone clarify for me...
At this point in the game, what is the commitment level of this group? Are they saying that they are willing to look at the evidence from the defense's view(which is clearly a different one)and testify on behalf of the Casey's interests even if they think she is guilty as charged?
Posted by: Hmmmmmm | December 16, 2008 at 08:45 AM
I'm wondering if she could have used zanax to keep her quiet while she partied, hence the babysitters name zanny.. Just a thought.
Posted by: Rindy | December 16, 2008 at 08:57 AM
Casey will never get a fair trial............and never walk free! She deserves nothing better than that after what she did to little Caylee. No dream team will undo what she has done. Why don't she just tell the truth. The nerve of her to have a panic attack after finding out about the remains. ..........surefire psychopath behavior.
Posted by: Angel Silverston | December 16, 2008 at 09:20 AM
I would also like to know who is paying for this dream team. We all know Casey hasn't got a dime and her parent's can't afford this either.
Posted by: Lyn | December 16, 2008 at 09:29 AM
What a travesty it is when educated people manipulate the evidence and pervert facts for the highest bidder and call that justice. This team is not about justice, this team is about picking apart every piece of evidence in the hopes some small mistake was made somewhere that they can use to free a killer. Every single one of them knows this. This is NOT a game people! This is NOT about you winning one for your reputation. What about Caylee's justice? I wonder how eager each of these people would be to get the killer off the hook if it was their family member laying on the autopsy table.
Posted by: Danna | December 16, 2008 at 09:34 AM
It's interesting how I have heard some (not all), of the (defense-hired, or not) scientific experts on TV say that they are only '"for science" and "the truth". And then the next thing that they utter is how the ME & associates could tamper with evidence (ie. insect staging) if they are not present.
How are we to accept that everyone in science is about the truth, if they are slamming one of their own in the scientific community without any evidence what-so-ever that tampering has or will occur? When you start off like that, you sound more like a hired gun with a goal of creating reasonable doubt vs. being one of neutrality. I could see saying that the more eyes there are, the less likely for something to be missed. But I've heard this sometimes subliminal, sometimes outward message that the ME in Orlando is somehow acting in a criminal or unethical manner. I have heard/read nothing about the ME's reputation that would suggest this. Perhaps I have missed some prior scandalous event.
This really cuts into their own credibility when they are suggesting that one group of scientists are about the truth but another group is not. It's very clear that they are unhappy about the judge's ruling that they can not be present; understood. But to put forward the impression or suggestion that one side is corrupt, without any substantiation, sounds nearly libelous or slanderous. In doing this, they come across as talking out of both sides of their mouths. It would be more honest to indicate that as defense experts, what they are truly seeking is any evidence that counters the state's findings, that would ultimately clear the defendant. Let's face facts: if their findings are in complete alignment with the state's, they won't be called to testify.
Posted by: cb | December 16, 2008 at 09:43 AM
Why drag everyone through this trial. If she had any shred of humanity she should just plead guilty and be done with it. Why give this liar a forum to put the burden of proof on the legal system to pick apart stories made up by a pathological liar? Its a waste of everyone's time and money. Do the right thing and just dissapear quietly forever.
Posted by: john | December 16, 2008 at 09:43 AM
Who is Paying for this team? ANSWER: A media company willing to pay up front for the exclusive rights to produce a film based on current public interest which they will sell to advertisers for air time. This is an investment in what they already understand has become a huge public interest drama. They are investing in the audience value.
But what if they manage to get Casey Anthony off on a technicality or an insanity defense? Are the advertising dollars worth the financed leverage of justice? One thing we have learned is that media attention does not solve cases: OJ Simpson, Jonbenet Ramsey, Natalee Holloway. If anything, the opposite is true. When media invests in the potential of a trial outcome, it is no longer news, but a sad departure from justice for this abandoned child whose life was ended so callously. If there were even a hint of moral value in paying for the assembled team of experts, the financiers of this effort would name themselves. Unfortunately, Miami Dade County will have to match the expenditures of the defense team and its expert witnesses with taxpayer dollars.
So Caylee's life amounts to a profit for the defense lawyers and their backers. Who cares about justice?
Posted by: Peter Lloyd | December 16, 2008 at 10:07 AM
Everyone on the team is probably working pro bono as Dr. Lee admitted that he is doing. There are worthy, actually innocent people wrongly accused of crimes who could use their help, but they are helping this sad excuse for a mother for the sake of their own egos and fame.
By the way, I just read this and wanted to share it:
Casey's childhood friend, Klomarie Cruz, told the police five months ago to search the exact woods where the skeletal remains were found. She said that they used to "hang out there most of our time", and we "went there to get away from our parents". I think that the "get away from our parents" part is a very interesting comment in this case. Did a jealous, angry Casey want to separate Caylee from Cindy forever? The police did try to follow up on this lead but were uanble to successfully search the area due to flooding.
Posted by: Marsha | December 16, 2008 at 10:51 AM
Yes Marsha, I remember reading that a long time ago, but wasn't sure that it was the some school or not. Thanks for mentioning it.
Are you guys hearing that there may have been two garbage bags involved with the remains? Wouldn't it be something if they matched one of them with the garbage bag that was found in the trunk of Casey's car? That bag supposedly came from the boyfriends house. That would definitely exclude "Zanny" from involvement.
And if they could match up some of the dirt from the yard to the trunk or the new area or vice versa. But I don't know how hard that would be to do.
Anyway, just some thoughts...
Posted by: Robbie | December 16, 2008 at 11:40 AM
I have followed this from the beginning and it really amazes me how some of this well-known people could actually want to defend casey.
While I agree the mother and father have done some strange things; but i feel sorry for them. Especially George. He seems so walked on and ruled by his wife.
I have no sympathy for Casey; nor do I feel she should be allowed to see the remains or go to the funeral. Although, seeing the remains might really wake her up and make her realize what she has done to her child.
She is very cold and calculating. She is destroying her parents.
I hope they put the death penalty back up and she gets it. Anyone who can kill their own child-does not deserve to live.
Posted by: brenda | December 16, 2008 at 12:06 PM
I'm think lies should not be allowed as part of a defense.
They should have to prove there was a nanny before thay can claim she kidnapped caylee and we all know there never was a nanny.
NO phone records of any kind. No paper trail of any kind. NO personal sightings of any kind. NO proof of any kind.
The laws of this nation must be changed to stop lying defense lawyers !! Proof of some kind should be required before they can address a jury. NO MORE LIES !! just imho
Posted by: sami | December 16, 2008 at 12:21 PM
REMEMBER...
Casey pleaded with her mom to give her one more day before calling police... but thank heavens cindy did not listen.
(to move caylee's body, again)imho

I will lose sleep every night thinking of this beautiful little baby girl and what a circus this will become with this "dream team." How can they stand up in a court room and try to prove that Casey Anthony is a victim along with Caylee? If I am losing sleep over this, how could they not? I can't believe anyone is on this horrible woman's side! I know she needs to be defended, but if I were her lawyer I would be advising her to plead guilty and take a deal. Tell the truth and we'll be a little easier on you Casey. Maybe you'll even survive prison if you tell the truth and show so real emotion and remorse. The jury I do believe will convict her, the jury will understand this is not about Casey and never should have been. It is about Caylee, a little baby girl who was taken from this world by her own Mother who was supposed to protect her and love her and spoil her and be proud of her. Yet, Caylee's Mother MURDERED her for personal gain! That baby deserves justice and more! I have no sympathy for Casey, I hope she gets whats coming to her and quickly. The thought of this "dream team" exploiting Caylee for their own personal reasons (money, fame, publicity) makes me feel sick. Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman didn't deserve it either nor Phil Spector's murdered girlfriend. How can this be happening to this poor baby?! I lose faith in human kind when I hear things like this. Lets put our faith and support with the jury, real people, and hope they don't let another killer back out into this world. Casey doesn't deserve a normal life, nor does she deserve death, she deserves life in prison with women who don't get to see their children, who would give anything to see their children, who actually LOVE their children! Give Casey life with them... they will show her. Maybe Casey should watch the video of Caylee singing "You Are My Sunshine" over and over again until she finally realizes the beauty that she did not let this world have! That this world needs!!!

Two questions: Who the heck is paying for all of these professionals? And why?
Posted by: ElleC | December 16, 2008 at 01:36 PM
I find it extremely sad that the only defense Casey's attorney can come up with is to hire as many high profile "experts" to look high and low for ANY tiny mistake in order to get Casey off on a technicality. I find it a huge statement about the character of her attorney as well as these so called "experts". I hope Caylee haunts both her attorney and his "hired guns".
Posted by: Jen | December 16, 2008 at 01:36 PM
Marsha! Yes! I have been wracking my brain to remember when and where I had heard about the fact that Casey used to hang out in those woods as a kid! I wonder if the body could have been moved to that locale after the initial searches were done?
