Texas EquuSearch and the Caylee Anthony Case
October 12, 2008
I won't bore you with all the legalities going on in the case of Casey Anthony and her missing two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. As you are already aware, the case is headed to a grand jury on Tuesday and they will determine whether to charge Anthony in her daughter's death.
That being said, I would like to update you on Texas EquuSearch and the search for Caylee.
I spoke with Tim Miller last night and he informed me that he is still not sure if now is the right time to resume the search. After exploring some of the search areas this weekend he found that there is still a lot of standing water, which could obstruct searchers from clearing those areas. In addition, the Orlando area has received a lot of rain in the last several days, further adding to the problem. Tim said that he is going to take all of this into consideration when making his final decision.
If Tim decides to continue the search, it will most likely resume after the hearing on Tuesday. The Orange County Sheriff's Office is busy preparing for Tuesday's hearing and will be unavailable to help EquuSearch until after that session has adjourned.
In a nutshell, the search for Caylee now hinges on whether Tim Miller feels he can get his team into areas of interest to conduct a thorough search. That is a lot of weight for one man to have on his shoulders; however Tim is a seasoned search veteran and whatever his final decision is you can guarantee it is based upon years of search and rescue experience. Texas EquuSearch has a stellar track record and no matter what Tim's final decision is, I will continue to stand behind him.
In the mean time, both myself and thousands of volunteers are currently on standby. As soon as I hear something I will post it here.
That being said, I know there are a lot of readers who would like to join in the search but are unable to for a variety of reasons. Please know that even if you cannot physically come to Florida, you can still help by sending a desperately needed donation to EquuSearch. The last search for Caylee cost in access of $35,000. EquuSearch is a nonprofit organization that relies upon donations so that they can continue to offer their services to the public and law enforcement. Even a donation as small as $5.00 is greatly appreciated and can help them purchase much needed supplies. I would not ask you to do anything that I myself am not willing to do and as soon as I post this I will be sending my own donation.

Dear Sir: I enjoy your articles very much and think you try to take a non-hysterical approach to the Caylee Anthony information. That said, my note today, is to give tribute to Texas EquuSearch team and Mr. Tim Miller for their same approach to a situation where they have gotten no thanks or help from the family of this dear child. Rather, they have been critized. Very sad.
I know of this organization since I live in the Houston area and have followed their searches since the inception of the organization. I well remember when his daughter went missing.
I believe that the only reason the team has come back to help is to finally see justice done for this little girl. Her family certainly has not shown the care for other people involved in her search.
God bless you Tim and your Team,
I believe Caylee is in the arms of our Father and she is safe. Now all we need to do is find out who did this to her.
Sincerely

There is a news article on MyFox Orlando that says Equusearch may decide not to search for Caylee. I sincerly hope that is not true.
If that little girl is indeed gone, she deserves to be found and have a proper burial.
It is very upsetting because I think Equusearch is the best chance of finding her.

Since all else has failed or failing in the search for Caylee, I truly believe that if a person with psychic abilities could be in the same room with Casey - they could possibly pick up from her where she placed Caylee. I know it is difficult for them to locate the deceased, however, if they could be in contact with Casey they could possibly get a reading. I don't know how or where the police could get someone like this near her - but that is the only way this information will ever be obtained. She will never confess to anything.

Tim has got to do his work according to whatever criteria he has established in the past, through his experience and not because of public pressure or attention, or any other reason for that matter. Please tell him that everyone appreciates what he is doing, who he is as a person, and not to worry about what is swirling around him. He knows best when or how to do it and he should go with his own instincts. Also wish him the best in all his endeavors.

Wouldn't we all love to see the Anthony's fund reimburse TES? Of course it doesn't make sense for them to sanction a cadaver search; every day that Caylee isn't found, is a day that the cause and time of death is more difficult to prove.
Meanwhile, the Tim Miller bashing that I've seen on other sites is deplorable.
Thanks DL and ID for the updates.

Because I live out of state, I will be unable to help with the EquuSearch effort to find pure Caylee Anthony. However, I have just made a contribution to the EquuSearch effort and I challenge all of the readers of this website to do the same. Let's bring Caylee home!!

My respect and admiration for Tim Miller is immense.
I think the Anthonys should take some of their media blood money and donate to EquuSearch. Of course that's not going to happen, as we don't live in an alternate universe. If I was Tim Miller, I'd walk away from this case and search for a family who would appreciate the investment in time, labor, money and sacrifice. The Anthonys care only about protecting Casey. They made their choice, Mr. Miller should make his.

Although I am in Calgary Canada I have been watching his horrific story unfold involving the Anthony's. I have just made a donation to this organization I made this donation, not for the Anthony's who are totally uncooperative, but for all the other missing children and their families who need and appreciate your help. Although it would be wonderful to bring little Caylee's body home to the family, Casey will get what is coming to her tomorrow when the grand jury hears the evidence, and she is charged with the murder of her own child.
I truly applaud your efforts Tim, you are an angel on earth. Never forget that.........

I found it interesting that in the beginning interviews with the police and Casey Anthony, she was describing losing one cell phone and getting a new one as "after the fact." What do you suppose she meant by that, a slip-up on her part, maybe.

Tim Miller looked so very sad on Nancy Grace where he reported that one of his searchers had found a dress that matched one that belonged to Caylee. I don't know whether this was a recent discovery, or not.
I suppose since he attempted to meet with George and Cindy Anthony over the weekend, that perhaps bones or hair or some type of remains might have been found with it too. It just seems as though he has concluded that it belonged to her. So sad.

I, too, noticed Tim Miller seemed very tired and down. I recently lost my full-time job, but felt I had to make a donation to his very worthwhile organization. Fortunately, most families are grateful for the help they receive from Tim Miller & Texas EquuSearch. Please find a way to donate whatever you can afford.
