Caylee Anthony Geographical Profile
October 14, 2008
Dr. Maurice Godwin has used his Predator computerized system to identify specific areas of interest in the search for Caylee Anthony.
Godwin told Investigation Discovery that the profile "predicts with a high degree of probability that Caylee's body will be found near Narcoossee Road just SW of the grandparents' home."
The locations used in his analysis were:
Casey Anthony's parents house
Location where her car was found
Buffer area for cell phone pings at the airport
Godwin has uploaded the computer results to his Website, along with maps, which highlight specific areas of interest.

These are good suggestions for places to search and should be followed up. People from outside the area should not place too much reliance on lack of results from such a search, even if it looks simple in satellite views.
The land has little relief. The water table is only a few feet below the surface even when there are no hurricanes. Water stood on the surface at many places for months this year. Vegetation does die back in cool, dry weather, now beginning, but this does not include such hardy natives as palmetto. Searching an overgrown acre can take all day and still miss things on the surface.
There is a surprising variety of wildlife. Searchers must be prepared for several kinds of poisonous snakes. On cold, sunny mornings you regularly see alligators sunning in and around roadside ponds. (They're there at other times, just hard to spot.) TES has done an admirable job that is not easy. Don't expect miracles.

I believe that in one of Casey's phone calls may be when she was speaking to Lee she said "I believe she is ok, I believe she is close to home". Maybe there are some truths in some of the things she says if you can weed through the layers. I pray the baby is truly found.

A follow up to my comment above
By coincidence, today's news has a report that the remains of Melinda Harder have finally been identified, she disappeared in 1980. They were turned up by a bulldozer during new construction. This is typical for remains not found in the first months after a person disappears in Florida. Clothing can help, but we have already seen that virtually identical clothing can be found. At this point, DNA evidence is the only good way to identify remains.
Sorry if this dashes hopes. I would be happier if this did not apply to Caylee.

Pray they find Caylee so we can rest assured the prosecution has a strong case and the last, most important piec eof the puzzle is found. Don't think for a minute though that even if they find Caylee's body, Cindy will turn against Casey. Cindy will continue to stick by Casey and say someone else did it, such as the alleged kidnappers. Cindy has always accused law enforcement of not arriving sooner when Cindy first played the call. Little Caylee if you're out there I hope you appear to your mom nightly in dreams asking her why, and visit your grandmother too and ask her why she's sticking with your mom and not you.

I've been going through the cell phone records from June 15 - June 24, and I don't see a bunch of pings near the airport, other than the ones that could be attributed to calls made from the Anthony residence. However, I do see from the pings on the 17th that she was in the vicinity (probably just north/northeast) of Union Park from roughly 4:30 to 5:30 PM, and was again in that area on the 19th, again late afternoon.
The pings also indicate that she was at her parents home on the 18th between 2:30 and 4:00 PM, which is around the time her neighbor says she borrowed the shovel.
