Casey Anthony Press Conference

Casey Anthony, mother of missing two-year-old Caylee Anthony, was present during a press conference with her attorney, Jose Baez, outside his Kissimmee, Florida, office this afternoon.

During the media briefing, Baez said that people should not to jump to conclusions. He said that his client has been subjected to a nightmare and that people should try "to understand what she is going through."

Anthony stood by her attorney's side, wiping away tears, but said nothing on her own behalf.

In regards to the grand jury hearing, Baez said that if an indictment is handed down his client would surrender herself to the authorities.

Baez wrapped up the press conference by saying:

"When we have finally spoken, everyone will say: 'now I understand.'"

Meanwhile, the grand jury has reconvened following a 1 hour lunch break. FBI Special Agent Nick Savage has completed his testimony and the last person scheduled to testify, Orange County sheriff's Detective Yuri Melich, has taken the stand.

Wracking my brain here to try and understand why only after Casey being indicted/charged/tried will we understand.

I have never posted but have been following this story since it began. I landed in Orlando with my family on July 16th and was there for 2 weeks before we drove down to Miami. since i was on Vaca i just heard bits and pieces of the story and didn't really now. at first i really thought a nanny had taken the baby (because this is what Caylee was/is a BABY) once in Miami my mother in law filled me in and i knew something more sinster was amist. I don't know any of the Anthonys but they haven't come across as the best people since this began all i could hope fo is that Casey did sell Caylee i hope and pray this is what happens, even though my husband says "anyone who wouldv'e had her would've said something by now!" True that is true but i still hope that is what happens. I pray Casey would say something of what happen to that baby if she sold her. Who has her? where is she? and if you harmed her give YOUR child a proper service. i hold my children close every night now and thank GOD they are safe.

Now Casey Anthony cries! Give me a freakin' break! Where were the tears before? "Now I understand" What the hell? Why is this ambulance chasing attorney trying to insult the intelligence of America. I will never understand the actions of a mother who willingly allowed this saga to continue.

Actually if you really take a look at the tape then you can see that she really was not even crying then. This broad is a handful and I tell you I hope they nail her to the wall. I mean I am a mother and this is the worst. You can see that the apple does not fall too far from the tree and that is a fact...Cindy Anthony is a peice of work...she said that this is some kind of conspiracy against her daughter. I have to give George is props he seems like the only one with a good head on his shoulders. I think it is because he was a detective an he has known the truth all along. I tell you I feel for George more than anything, I would say the same for Cindy but I will not until she faces reality and gets that it is her dumb daughter that caused all this mess...I also think Cindy has some responsibility in this...I read that Casey did not want to have this baby and told her mother that, yet Cindy insisted that she keep the child....like Sarah Palin.... If that is true then it was her responsibility to make sure this child was being taken care of the best possible way that she could. I had a son at 17 and that is what my parents did for me...they understood that a child that age cannott take care of a child...because he/she is a child!!!!

The fact that Cindy had never laid eyes on the so called babysitter.... how can you have a 3 year old child or grandchild and never have met the babysitter...I think that Cindy is a charachter as well....she probably was not a very good mother to start with. I think that Caycee should pay big time for this all the lies good lord!!! I know that it must be hard for Cindy Anthony to go throug all this but lady wake up and smell the cofee
