Well, we can assume she is going to plead not guilty because in her little fairy tale world, she had no hand in her daughter's disapperance.

I agree!! Finally.. Justice for that sweet child.. Its funny how Casey starts crying today of all days at the conference with Baez... she probably already knew she was going........

Casey needs to stop lying and her lawyer needs to get the truth. Its time someone thinks of Caylee. Not whats happening to Casey. And what kind of Grandparnents let this go on this long....

FINALLY! I was hoping they'd charge her. Stupid girl. I bet her and Baez feel like idiots.

Great news. I hope that, if she is guilty, they can make murder one stick. Really great news. The best news would be Caylee alive and unharmed; but, if we can't have that, this will at least be the start of some justice for that little baby.

I am curious, once Casey is RE arrested...will we be able to focus on our lives once again? This case is so frustrating, mind boggling, and heart wrenching. Casey appears to be deceitful, unreliable and untrustworthy by nature. I think a lot of people want to see her locked up for simply being Bad News all the way around even if she is not guilty of harming and neglecting Caylee. However, thus far she has GUILTY written all over her.

AND HER MOTHER STILL COVERS FOR HER CINDY KNOWS VERY WELL HER MONSTER LITTLE CASEY KILLED THAT BABY AND I'M GLAD HER FATHER TOLD THE TRUTH . THANK YOU GOD

Thanks for telling us David. I still hope they find Caylee, to make a conviction stick, if murder is indeed what happened.

I am so happy that Casey is finally going to be held accountable. This is unfortunately tempered by the knowledge that little Caylee will never get the chance to grow up. JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE

YESSSSSSS!

Finally, justice will prevail. Work by the OC sheriff's office and their determination and unyielding efforts on behalf of Caylee is immpresive and appreciated. I'm astounded that Casey is still wearing her "Help Find Caylee T-Shirt". This is not only a slap in the face of LE and the general public but is a disgrace to the memory of her child. Thank goodness she cannot wear in prison.
David, as always, great blog and fantastic reporting! Thank you.

Cindy & Casey left attorneys office together, Cindy went home but did not have Casey with her, now what. I heard Casey would be arrested within the hour, the hr. is over, no sign of Casey!

All we can hope is that she receives the same treatment that she has shown little Caylee.

A big step towards Justice for Caylee!

This TOTAL fiasco has been allowed by this SICK ABUSIVE mother's PARENTS!!! They should go to jail for the abuse of their granddaughter!!! THEY, if they had been responsible parents and grandparents, SHOULD NOT have allowed this. They foresaw it - they denied it - they excused themselves. THEY helped this girl KILL, MURDER this child.

Casey's attorney is not very effective if he can't get her to plea this out considering she might be facing the death penalty or life in prison given all the mounting evidence against her. I'd get a new attorney!

Maybe I have watched one too many episodes of Law and Order or Perry Mason, but I must ask, what proof or evidence is there to justify a murder indictment? There is no body, no crime scene, no evidence of any nature other than a missing child. In our society today, children are abducted and sold on a routine basis. Granted, I do not belief that has happend in this case, but what material evidence do they have to justify an indictment? This prosecutor has been after Casey Anthony from day one, charging her with everything under the sun, and now this rush to an indictment just before the elections, it smells of a political stunt.
While I do have my opinions as to the guilt of Casey Anthony, they are just that, opinions, and you cannot indict someone based on opinions, you must have hard evidence. The only charge that might have any standing is neglect, as the child has been missing since July and she waited so long to report it. However, the rash of charges that has been filed and the revolving door of the legal system is only setting up the opportunity for Casey Anthony to file suit of harrassment should they be unable to substantiate this indictment with any credible evidence and the charges be dismissed or she be acquitted on lack of evidence to convict.
Innocent until proven guilty is still the law of the land. Let us not rush to judgement or even indictment until the charges can be supported by physical evidence.

SHE WAS NOT CRYING! I CAN MAKE MY EYES TEAR WITHOUT "CRYING" ALSO. WHY DO YOU THINK SHE KEPT WIPING HER EYES? SHE DIDN'T WANT US TO SEE THERE WERE NO TEARS SO SHE KEPT WIPING FAKE TEARS. ITS SO APPARENT IN HER BODY ENGLISH SHE HAS NO SENSE OF REALITY ANYMORE, THIS IS ALL SUREAL TO HER, SHE IS LOVING EVERY BIT OF THIS AND SHE PROBABLY CANT WAIT FOR THE TRIAL TO START, SHE LOVES ALL THE ATTENTION!

Robert,
In reference to your question, heres MY theory on it...there have been MANY a case tried and convictions made when there hasnt been an actual "body". But, in this case, I believe since its JUST an indictment, that means the Grand Jury had sufficient enough evidence to carry on with a "possible conviction". I think there is more evidence than we know, and I believe the hair samples, AIR samples, cadaver dog hits, and chloroform evidence, all seem to point towards a dead body being in that trunk. I mean, yes, everything else seems to be speculation, but that is hardcore evidence in my opinion. I could be wrong, but as much Forensic Files I have watched seems there is always a way to figure stuff out without an actual "body".
