I actually listened to the interviews this afternoon. It was one thing for me to read in news reports that she had lied to authorities, it was another for me to actually hear her getting caught in those lies, backtracking and then admitting she had lied when taking police on a wild goose chase/hunt. It is more clear after hearing her myself that she is lying and will say whatever whenever for whoever will listen.... I am very sad for her family. I think her parents have gotten a BAD wrap and I am holding them close in my prayers.

i'm surprised that the police haven't done more diging in the anthony yard. no one has mentioned that george had replanted a tree that cindy said was moved away from the house. casey had stolen gas from her father but she ran out of gas. could she have used the gas to pour on the babies body so the dogs wouldn't smell a dead body. is it possible that caylee is buried under that tree. they had 30 days to rid the body. casey stated that the baby is close to home. neighbors stated the car was backed into the storage area and she borrowed a shovel from a neighbor. i think the baby is in the anthony yard. thanks for listening pat

I've been following this case since the beginning, and it makes me sick that all this is going on for so long. I check the news almost hourly, so I thought I'd post some thoughts. Hope I am not rehashing some ideas already posted, I haven't seen them all yet...
In listening to the tapes tonight, I have noticed a few things, like I'm sure many others have, such as this: Casey talked about Caylee in the past tense a lot when she did talk about her. Things like "I went to the park where she liked to play". Wouldn't you say "I went to the park where she likes to play?" Unless you know she's dead.
Another thing-she keeps saying with a straight face that she doesn't know where Caylee is and that if she did this wouldn't be happening. We know that she went through a LOT of money recently, but we don't know what for yet...I was wondering if it's possible that she had a friend that had a friend, etc, that would have disposed of Caylee for cash? For example, put her in a bag or box,give her to someone she doesn't really know and say "I'll give you $1,000 to get rid of this for me, no questions asked. And I don't want to know what you do with it." Is it possible that this may be the only real truth she is telling because she figured out a loophole for her lies?
Also-she said she had been in Jacksonville during that 31 day period-is it possible that Caylee is not even in Orlando at all and that she is in a landfill in Jacksonville? We know that she took off driving a lot and was always out of gas-the cell phone pings would tell more about that-if she drove up to Jax or not, unless she didn't have the phone with her, I remember her saying she had lost the phone.
I wonder what goes through her mind-she may be laughing that we're all looking hours away from where Caylee may really be? I just hope that Casey finally caves in OR slips up in a lie and gets caught finally-you know, when you tell so many lies, eventually you will slip up. I hope it's soon.

Not taking the lie detector test was the first smart thing I've heard that her family has done. Polygraphs are pure pseudoscience. They can never help anyone prove anything.

Have the authorities interviewed this Jeffery Hopkins who allegedly introduced her to Zenaida Gonzalez or the previous babysitter Lauren Gibbs? Casey Anthony is SO bizarre how she goes on and on and on in such a "normal" way with this BS about her job, her desk, the phone she got from Universal, etc... and all these people she "works" with at Universal. She just makes it all up as she goes along.
I've worked with people like her and it's very disturbing. I wish the police/FBI could get their hands on her again for another intense interrogation. She's fortunate she has a lawyer to keep her away from the authorities. I do not believe she could maintain all these lies if they had more opportunities.

I just listened to the taped interviews. In the second taped interview between 43:20 and 43:45, Casey said something about " how it happened ". Was Casey ever asked what she meant?
Casey seems to talk more when the interrogator isn't so aggressive. The 'layback' attitude of the one detective seems to make Casey less guarded.
Since Casey's lawyer won't 'allow' Casey to be questioned anymore is proof enough to me that,because of all the evidence being disovered, she's guilty of murdering that precious baby.
When Casey says she doesn't know where Caylee is, is because possibly Casey put the baby in some vehicle after she killed her and that vehicle drove off somewhere.....that would make Casey's story of " I don't know where she is' be a true statement.

When I listen to the tapes what strikes me the most is that she isn't emotionally protesting when they state their theories about what happened to Caylee!! Innocent people would be jumping up and down denying wrong-doing when accused of something so heinous.

I think that the tapes may have been released either to put pressure on the parents, or to dispute their recent claims that they find Casey's story believable. It seems that the timing has a lot to do with Mark NeJame's flurry of PR interviews painting the parents as oblivious to Casey's potential and likely involvement in their grand daughter's disappearance.
During the interview, the detective mentions that all the calls that he is receiving are from Casey's mother. I think that the police are hoping that whatever the parents have learned or have begun to suspect, since Casey's release, they now feel obliged to share it: especially after being subjected to hearing her lies directly, (rather than reading them in a transcript). This has got to be so much more devastating to them. It also bolsters their case that they tried desperately to get any relevant information from Casey that would result in the discovery of Caylee's whereabouts, and that they were concerned about her welfare rather than simply trying to develop a case against Casey.
At this point, they have little hope of breaking down Casey to get any honest answers . For anyone that may have been on the fence about Casey's honesty in relaying the events leading up to and after the disappearance, as well as the players involved, her nonsensical- cockamamy responses had to have pushed them to the ground. Even if you can allow for the suspension of disbelief , and assume that the woman calling herself Zanny may lied about her name, her address and so forth, Casey insists that she called this 'Jane Doe' and emailed her plenty of times, how does (or how could) no one exist behind any kind of paper trail?
I still feel sorry for the parents, George and Cindy, that have been placed in this impossible and tortuous position; losing their grandchild and having to come to grips with their daughter's behavior. However, if Casey is given a free pass on her actions now, not only will they be victims, (or Caylee), but a whole host of others, strangers and family alike, will fall prey to her in the future; possibly including other children that she may have. Anyone who has benefited from lies and criminal behavior does not suddenly change to become an upstanding individual without having to suffer consequences first. Not pressing charges on the theft of the great grand parents funds was at least one example of encouraging this bad behavior. There likely were others.

Listening to Casey Anthony is chilling. She is so detached. An innocent person would not sit through an interrogation like this and maintain their composure, even with being confronted with her lies. She admits lying and not cooperating! Casey Anthony should be arrested and charged with child endangerment, obstruction of justice, a bunch of other legitimate charges. Allowing her to return home to a family that is supporting her lies is only strengthening her resolve and her beleif in her own lies - the mother, father and brother are deluded. None are cooperating. In jail, Casey loses her support system. Maybe she'll break down in there. Just a thought, but if the suspect in this case were a grizzly, unattractive older man who told the same lies do you think he would have gotten bail? No one wants to believe this pretty, young girl could harm her lovely little daughter. Close your eyes and listen to her words. Casey Anthony is lying and resisting any attempt to recover her child. No reaction when the officer says her baby is in a dumpster rotting - sick! We can only hope the recovery of Caylee will bring an end to this sadness.

Casey Anthony needs to take a "truth detector" test. Hearing these transcripts where she lies so convincingly - even with descriptive details - is terrifying. This woman is a classic sociopath. I wonder if her parents have heard these tapes...

I think the tapes may have been released in part to demonstrate the professional comportment of LE from the outset, which it clearly does.

I don't know spimby, whether or not a lie detector proves anything, I still say that if you have absolutely nothing to hide what so ever, taking one should not be a big deal. It's refusing to take one that makes you look bad. Also I must comment on the tapes, I agree with all of everyones comments on them so far. I was sitting there staring at my computer screen almost laughing in disbelief at the way she answered those questions. You could just here the frustration in the cops too. I loved it. They kept catching her in her lies and how she could keep going around in circles like that, I was just floored. Although they did an excellent job I think pressure needs to be put on her(although now she doesn't have to talk). I did like how they got her to admit to them that she was more concerned about her mom than her daughter.

Does anybody think that it is possible that Casey was partying, trusted what seemed like "nice" people, maybe got "fronted drugs" owing and they took her daughter until she paid up and when she couldn't, well, they either kept her or maybe didn't tell her what they were going to do with said child and Casey now knows with those kind of people that if she squeals she will be a dead woman? I would hope they would do a hair analysis (other hard drugs are gone in a few days usually) to see if there have been these drugs. I really think that is what happened. It would explain her behavior a bit. Any other logical opinions? (As a student in drug counseling (social work) I have worked in and around and done research on these situations). If this is true, she is maybe hoping that they didn't do anything with her daughter or she will find her later, but she believes the police can't help her. I know a reporter found her facebook account (she unbelievably has many, many friends on there) and asked to be her friend to which she accepted. I just haven't heard anything on the drug theory. Then again, most of you haven't been involved in that world and have no idea how it operates. This is giving her the benefit of the doubt. It will take an expert drug counselor to convince her it is ok to tell the police, that maybe she partied, trusting a new sitter (she says I love you quickly to a 12 year old online) and met the monsters that are really out there. Even if she knows her daughter is gone, by telling the police, maybe she will get out of a life or death sentence....it would have been an accident. But she doesn't believe it will get better for her by telling. The only other possible explanation is she is a psycopath (truly void of feelings), and therefore, all of the attention for her even if it is negative is WONDERFUL, and in that case, she would need to be locked up for life as there is no cure for them. (Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, I believe would fall into this category. Thank you all again.

I'm at a loss on so many things; why did the judge allow house arrest in the Anthony home, yet stipulate that there was to be no discussion of the case. Is that a logical explanation to the many hours that Casey spends at Baez's office? What exactly is the purpose of LE releasing the tapes? And, not bashing, but I wish the investigators had been less repetitious with the accusations; some people cannot handle an uncomfortable silence and it's no secret that Casey seems to love the sound of her own voice. Can't help but wonder if she would have been more forthcoming if there had been less verbal barrage. I do appreciate the tirelessness of law enforcement and recognize the frustration that they must be feeling.
Haven't seen anything about a new search on the Anthony property. Thought that it had been cleared.

The family needs to make a choice to either try to find their granddaughter or to try to save their daughter from jail. They can not have this both ways. They need to come out to the public and say please help me. My daughter is a liar and will not help us or the police find our 3 year old granddaughter. Or they can say they are standing behind their daughter. If they choose to stand behind their lying daughter then stop putting the blame on the public and the police because nobody can find this child. They can not be so stupid to belive her. They must have left Casey get away with this for years and that is why she is still doing it. I also feel her brother Lee has more information than he is saying. I would start looking where she use to hang out as a teenager. She is immature and she will return to where she knew as a child since she has never grown up.

Also, what is this (Nashville?)PR firm offering to put up a website to ask for donations in Casey Anthony's defense? From people like Leonard Padilla, to this PR firm trying to gain publicity out of all of this, makes me sick. Now they want us, the general public, to help fund this proven liar & thief's defense fund?? Screw that! What's the name of this PR firm so I can email them with my disgust, as well as boycott any products or services that they offer?

Marcia, I saw a clip from Fox News and the reporter stated that they had been in contact with Jeff, and that he claims he and Casey were never close and that he did not introduce her to Zanny.
Yes, it is very disturbing to hear how the lies spill so easily from Casey. What I find most interesting is the fact that she tells lies that she knows are going to be disproved rather quickly. She doesn't seem to be able to think ahead and instead gives the interviewer what she thinks they want to hear, just to temporarily relieve the pressure that she's under, but knowing full well these tall tales won't check out. I believe that is what she's been doing with her parents as well; that is why she said she got a call from Caylee and that the child was okay, and that is why she claimed Caylee would be home for her birthday.
And apparently she's still adding to/changing her story. You would think she would realize the trouble she's in and just shaddup, but no, she still yackity yacks! I certainly hope they find little Caylee's body soon.

For all of the people that think Casey is not guilty for killing Caylee, where have you people been living, in a cave. If Casey didn't kill Caylee then why is she lying. Wake up people. She killed her daughter and buried her somewhere and is not concerned that the little girl is under ground somewhere. Even if they never convict Casey for murder she will go to jail for all the other charges.

I thought when I heard the tape that the cops got more out of her when they just let her run her mouth off. This is when she said the most. The first two were just mouthing off and didn't give her a chance to respond at all except say "ahuh". Once they left the room she opened up to the cop remaining and was talking even without his questioning her. What if she is telling the truth and she doesn't know where Caylee is? She will stay with this story no matter what because of the stealing and not working for 2 years.Have the cops asked her what she was doing the past 2 years if she wasn't working? And this all happened after a big argument with her parents when they told her to get out and start living elsewhere - before that, she had mama to babysit for her whenever she wanted to go out at night, etc. Now she had to find a place for Caylee to stay.I think this little girl either drowned in the family pool (accidentally, or accidentally/on purpose, if you get what I mean) or was left in the car in the hot sun and expired that way. Because of her relationship with her mother, she will never admit her involvement.Listen, she tells this wild tale about Zenaida living in a so-called "flop house"-people coming and going - and that she had 3 different cell phone numbers AND, most telling, she e-mailed her a lot of times.I don't believe you can move around as much as that woman supposedly did and keep your computer with you as well.It is hard enough getting them to work in one spot when you have a lap top or a stand alone, saying someone is moving around constantly and being able to e-mail is far fetched.She just says whatever comes in to her head at the moment and then forgets what she says.I now hear that she says she left her in the park with Zenaida and her sister and they gave her a "script" to adhere to for 30 days.It really does get you going though-could they have taken the baby in lieu of payment for drugs and they would hurt her if Casey didn't pay up or something like that?You couldn't write a soap opera any better; but,the main thing is to find that little girl and unfortunately, that may never happen...

It was frighting on how she did not bat an eye and did not seemed effected at 3 detectives being very upset with her because all she did was lie to them. She was confronted over and over again in the interview about her lies and she did not seem moved. She sounded calm and had all the answers when they asked her questions. I wish I could have seen her facial reaction during the interview. Its a toss up between if she is mentally ill and in a fantasy world or just very evil. She gave names and locations that did not exist. She had over 30 days to get her story straight after she killed Caylee. (yes-she murdered her daughter) The detectives where not happy at her craziness when just telling them outright lies and making them work towards dead end after dead end to find her daughter Caylee. It would be interesting to see a Psychological test on her-or any past tests done in school for her personality..i.e disorder that is. Her family must have known for years about her mental issues. --Its hard to use the word Psychopath because they at least have back-up for their lies. Casey just made up stuff about her daughter missing that was easily found out not to be true. She is delusional. -but she is also very convincing when she talks which is a scary combination.

When my son was in 1st grade, he use to take the bus to the boys and girls club after school. One day I went there and I could not find him, they called him over the loud speaker and he did not come. I freaked out, I started shaking, and called his school. They said he was not there, they called one of his friends at home, who said he never saw him get on the bus.
I started thinking all kinds of crazy things, I got in my car, hauled ass to his school, praying when I got there that he would just be sitting outside, or someone had picked him up and I forgot about it.
I called everyone in my family, and no one had him. I got to his school and he was no where is site. I called the police, I could barely speak as the 911 operator asked me what was my emergency. The police were there within minutes, they sent a patrol car back to the Boy and Girls club, and one officer stayed with me.
He asked me what my son was wearing that day, I started crying harder because I did not see him that morning, his father took him to school. I was shaking, they asked me all kinds of scary questions like would someone take him, would his father harm him, would he run away, could he gotten lost and so on.
Then after 30 minutes the other patrol officer at at the Boys and Girls club called and said he found him, he was in the Boys locker room with some kids messing around, and he did not hear them call his name.
That time in my life, where I thought my son was missing was and still is the worst day of my life. I could not breathe, think or even talk with out crying for him. I was so scared for him as I had no idea where he was, who he was with, was he alive, dead, hurt, fine, scared, alone, or trapped.
I do not understand Casey Anthony, I do not know how she can be so calm, so collective, and not even show any immotion for her own daughter, who was only 2 years old at the time.
She is heartless. To this day I still worry about my son if I call his cell phone and he does not answer. I could not go on like it was a normal day if I had no idea where he was.
Unless I knew he was not alive, and knew where his body was like I believe Casey does Caylee.

If you listen and study her tone when she speaks, when she is lying about where she works and when she is talking about when she last seen Caylee, its the same tone. I can't describe the change in her tone, but it is definitely the same. You can almost tell when she is lying. I listened to the entire tape. You also, can tell that she LOVED when the detective was sympathizing with her in regards to her "not being able to live up to her parents expectations" she was really starting to open up. She is definitely a "professional Victim" that is for sure! Too bad they couldn't continue, they would have been able to get more and possibly found Caylee by now.

She likely was involved in drug taking. One of the original documents has an interview with her best friend, and he stated that she used drugs, but she knew that he disapproved. However, at this juncture, if we assume that her child was taken by said "nice people", this has become an international story, they would have to be aware of this case. What hope would they have of extracting money from a person that is in the spotlight all the time with multiple charges filed against her? If Casey already 'spilled the beans' to the police on who this person was,"Zanny the Nanny",a name that she frequently used to explain to her friends who was watching Caylee, why now would she hold anything back? Why not give them a valid phone number? Even an assumed name with a phone number could be traced to somewhere. If you are to follow that logic, what benefit would holding onto the child be for Zenaida? So that she could get caught with her and face kidnapping charges which are likely worse than drug charges? And if this were the case, and Casey was truly concerned about getting her daughter back, then why after Caylee disappears, does she steal money from her friend's bank account and then go spend it in Target and multiple other locations? Why would she not have used these stolen funds for the ransom? Why would she be going out and spending money on drinks at clubs, if this ransom was being held over her head? She could have sold the car that she left abandoned, as well. If this hypothesis were true, Caylee would be in more danger, not less, because Casey,supposedly,is holding back info. And if we accept that Casey was that serious of a drug addict,wouldn't all of the money have gone into feeding her habit vs. buying clothes, or as the police statement says,"she purchased what a typical 22 year old might buy"? There is no logic to the drug ransom story, because it isn't true.

I think that casey has been telling us all aong where Caylee is. She mentioned Jay Blanchard park from day one in the police interview. She said that Caylee loved running around the lake. Pathological liars are always several steps ahead. They just don’t mention something for no reason, example: she told the police that she was looking for Caylee in Fusion nightclub very early on. She was obviously providing an excuse for being there because she knew she was seen and photographed. The “bounty hunter” “claimed that Casey told another whopper about being jumped at the same park and Caylee being snatched there. Why would she place herself there if she wasn’t thinking ahead for some reason. Maybe she thinks someone saw her or maybe she is afraid that they are getting close to finding Caylee. Her story became more violent and more urgent than previous versions. There must be a reason. She told her family over the phone that police were not listening to her, maybe there is something to that. Maybe if this was somewhere that Caylee liked or somewhere they had spent time together, this is a way of having less guilt over leaving her there. It is like an excuse for the location. Speaking of excuses: I found it interesting that in the interviwes she starts to make excuses for herself like “I,m reaching,” or “I’m reverting back to familar places.” This sounds to me like child-like excuses such as the ones her mother has probably been making for her her entire life. This is obviously the way she has been talked to.
I am desperate for closure in this case. I can not stand the thought of that poor angel rotting somewhere alone.
If Casey is reading this, the world sees right through you. Not one person will ever believe you again. You will have no joy in the rest of your life either way. No sane man could ever possibly love you after this. No one will ever hire you for a job, trust you around their children or let you into their homes. You are most likely going to jail for a long time either way. Everyone is suffering because you don’t have what it takes to tell us all what you did or where she is. Just get it over with you weak, weak person.

Ok, this has seriously gotten patently ridiculous. They should bring the WHOLE freaking family in for obstruction of justice until this little girl is found. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Casey is lying, her parents are covering for her and lying. Arrest them, interrogate them, and be done with it. The little girl is unfortunately is probably dead and at this point, doubtful to be found. The only way to get to the truth is to arrest them all. They are all to blame.

The bail bondsman who first got her out of jail got a bad wrap- he is kinda stupid- but, she insisted for the first month of her jail time that she would help find her daughter if they let her out of Jail- well, she is out of jail- why isn't she helping to find her?

I think that she is extra childish. She is lying through her teeth and her parents are blinded by their love for their daughter. i think that maybe she left her daughter home by herself becuase she wanted to go out or go party and spend time with her boyfriend. I think that an accident occured and she got scared. The only other thing I can think of is that she sold that little girl. She is a scam artist. A bad one becuase she got caught and found guilty for her crimes. As a young mother of two small boys i can't imagine putting my safety or well being above my childrens. i pray that she has a change of heart and comes forward with the truth for the sake of her daughter.

In the interrogation with the police, Casey Anthony is talking about Caylee in the past tense. She seems to have no conscience at all and is all about attention.

I agree w/ the pschologist who said she fit the typical female child killer profile. For example she seemed oddly worried about contacting a boyfriend instead of screaming to anyone that would listen to help her find her child when she was first in jail. She doesn't seem to have any friends that know her well and surely if your baby was missing if by some stretch you didn't go to the police or your family you'd go to boyfriend or friends. She went to no one because this little girl being missing is all a lie. OJ got away with it-unless they can make a good case w/out a body she will get away with it. If they try her and there isn't enough evidence she's got the double immunity thing so even if she shouted from the rooftops she did it (or wrote a book) she could and no one could touch her. Obviously she isn't pressured by guilt or her family's feelings so I'd say do what the psychologist suggested and watch for how her ego works and appeal to it. In the meantime I pray for this little girl's soul. What a shame that in her almost three years here this is what she got.

Since the cadaver sniffing dogs alerted on the trunk of the car, and the lab data show that a decomposing body was in the trunk of the car, it seems logical that Caylee is dead. Also, since the dogs first alerted on the Anthony back yard, she borrowed a shovel from a neighbor, and then they saw her backing her car into her parents' garage shortly after that, it seems logical that she buried the body in her parents' backyard (dogs had alerted on that too) and then dug it up and took it in the car to bury it somewhere else where it would be less likely to be found. She also slipped up in speaking of her daughter in the past tense on the tapes (she LIKED to go to the park; she LIKED to go on the swings). Listening to her reminds me very much of Scott Peterson, the constant lies and the lack of any real emotion in her voice. Sociopaths (that's what she and Scott Peterson both are) don't really feel emotions that other people feel, but they usually learn to fake emotions by observing other people. She and Scott are also both very attractive, charming, and constant liars, all typical for sociopaths. Sociopaths can be very dangerous because they have no conscience and don't care about anyone except themselves. By the way, Scott Peterson's parents still totally support him too, even after the bodies were found and he was convicted. Casey will continue lying as long as she lives, and her parents will continue believing her lies no matter what proof there is that they are lies. It's so sad that Casey was not allowed to give that lovely child up for adoption (as she wanted to do) to parents who would have adored her.

Regarding the lie detector test.
I think the reason that Cindy, George and Lee initially agreed to a lie detector test and now have declined to take the test is that some time between first finding out about Caylees disappearance and now they have either uncovered the truth or have been told the truth by Casey and her involvement in Cayless death.
They could not "pass" a lie detector test now if they proper questions were asked. Not only would they incriminate Casey, but because they are not going to police with their information they would be breaking the law by withholding information about a murder of a child.
I think that this whole thing took a big turn after the first jail tapes were released. I wish they had not let them out to the media for a week, then she possibly would have told more information to her family/friends before she realized that they were taping her. Even though it was told to her and signs were posted, I don't think she was smart enough to realize that.
Now, for some reason George and Cindy seem very disconnected. At first, they seemed a couple and now whether it is from stress or the fact that they are living a lie, they have disconnected as a couple and seem angry with one another. This could be because George Anthony is more involved than we realize, as he was the one that reported the cans missing and later removed them from the "stinking" trunk and put them in the garage without telling officers that he had done so, until they recounted his first report about stolen gas cans. Only then, did he tell them he had removed them from the trunk.
Surely he is a seasoned police officer well enough to put two and two together. Missing child, Trunk reeks of "dead body", empty gas cans in trunk that were stolen from shed.
Hmmm...unless Casey is mowing lawns I can't imagine why she would be carrying around gas cans in the first place. Its dangerous and the smell must have been pretty bad in there if the smell of gasoline did not even mask it.
I think that Papa George is hindering this case more than we realize, as he was "first on the scene" of the car followed by Mama Cindy and her need to cleanse clothing.
Bizarre, and so sad that this child was in evident danger for a longer time than we realize if her mother Casey told people she was at sitters and told her mother of this said sitter, and she doesn't exist, just where was she? How many times was she left wherever she was? With Caylee getting to the age where she could speak more clearly and "tell" on her mother, she was becoming a liability to her way of life.
Toddlers can't tell on you, but a nearly 3 year old can. I think she knew what Casey was doing was wrong, whether it was prostitution for her money or leaving her alone to fend for herself or worse.
All I know is, I hug my children a bit tighter these days and thank God for the loving life that we all have. How sad that little Caylee may have not ever had this love from her own Mother.

This is in response to "Terri" regarding the polygraph examination being purely "pseudoscience." If you had done any research on the polygraph or VSA (voice stress anyalysis), you would know that both of these tests, when performed by a PPE are 99.999% accurate. I bet you that had these tests been performed on any of the Anthony's, thousands of people and thousands of dollars would have been saved by nipping the BS in the bud.

This case has gotten so bizarre and I don't think Casey is the only one not telling the truth. I think this is a secretive family that in the heat of the moment got the police involved and now they are backtracking as fast as they can. This is why I believe this:
1. Casey goes away with Caylee. Obviously not in happy terms with mom. She doesn't call or contact mom. Mom finds out where she is and questions her about her granddaughter. Casey says she doesn't know where she is and that she hasn't seen her in a month. Mom panics and calls police.
2. So Casey has been living with her mom along with Caylee. LIVING in her house. Yet, mom doesn't know the father of Caylee? Doesn't know whether her daughter works or not and where? Doesn't or has never met the nanny that supposedly babysits her little princess Caylee?
3. So mom in a manic moment gets angry with Casey for not knowing where Caylee is and calls the police and also mentions the smell in the car. Yet, later claims that she believes it was a pizza smell and proceeds to wash clothes that also smelled like that knowing very well that this is important evidence. She is the wife of a police man, she knows the importance of this!
4. Mom and brother Lee drill Casey while in jail trying to figure out where Caylee is. Yet none of them, NONE of them are in a panic mode desperately trying to find Caylee.
5. Casey gets out of jail, goes home and all of sudden family is in total support of her. Backing her lies, and so on.
I believe this whole family is in on this web of lies. I think that very possibly Caylee could be the daughter of Lee thus the lie about the dead father and the reason why she wanted to put her up for adoption in the first place. Her family made her keep a baby she obviously didn't want. I believe Casey has told her family what she did with Caylee and now they find themselves in a position to try to hide and back her up on her lies. I also believe Casey is lying so that the whole truth about the whole family won't come out. I do believe Casey has done something to Caylee, and with such a dysfunctional family it is no wonder that she is completely emotionless. And this would be the reason why the whole family has now refused to take the lie detector test. Because they all know what happened to Caylee already.
Very very sad.

I belive that casey was involved with drugs , and owed someone money and until she came up with the money they took her daughter , thats very possible . wheres caylee's father ? why hasnt the abituary been shown to an officer ? Has a drug test been done on casey ? i belive that the officers who are doing the interrogation need to STOP being so nice to casey and get down to it and start GETTING answers , its a 3 year old inoccent child out there , its very urgent that she is found , if casey ( THE MOTHER) WAS SO CONCERNED AND WORRIED she would be doing EVERYTHING in her power to help find her child .she wouldnt be giving run arounds and laging . shes a sorry excuse of a woman/mother .

As far as the grandparents taking a lie detector test, I think it is good for them that they didn't take it.
They are both so emotional and both in such overwhelming denial, but also both from fields of work, which at some level inside know the truth.
I read of one woman victim who was hyper emotional and was having trouble facing reality of what happened to her husband who FAILED the lie detector test, even though all of the DNA and forensic evidence showed that her story was true. Conversely, the sociopath who killed her husband and kidnapped and raped her PASSED the lie detector test.
The expert explained that the false results happened, because the woman blamed herself for her husband's death.
Basically, the lie detector test shows that you feel guilty, but not what you feel guilty about. The woman felt guilty, the sociopath didn't.
What are the chances that Cindy particularly feels guilty, because if she didn't threaten Casey, Caylee wouldn't be gone? And she probably also feels guilty that she turned Casey in.
If she took a polygraph while she herself is consumed with guilt, she could actually get in trouble herself.

I can't believe these interviews, how could a person just naturally sit there and lie like that. She's a habitual liar. She has no remorse nor any sense of feeling. If one of my kids were missing I couldn't get through that interview because I would be so torn up. I personally think that her mother, Cindy Anthony, doesn't know anything. The poor lady is in shock, but as for the father he's an EX-COP. He never says anything or interview nor state his thoughts on the whole situation. And on Nancy Grace her boyfriends roommate stated that she said her father would take care of the car. I think he knows something, being an ex-cop you would know more of what the police, detectives, and crime scene investigators are looking for. Those cadaver dogs didn't hit on the house for no reason, Ohhh they just happen to decide we're going to hit on the CAR and the YARD. Come on, I can't believe this case is going this long with no PERMENANT arrest. This girl needs to be arrested without bail.
