Investigation Discovery to Join Search For Caylee Anthony
September 04, 2008
If you have been reading the articles here for the last few days then you are aware that Texas EquuSearch has been having a difficult time getting people to volunteer and help in the search for missing three-year-old Caylee Anthony. Rather than sit back and throw stones at others who are not participating, I decided to take an active role in the search effort.
The Discovery Channel is flying me out to Orlando at 6:00 p.m. today to meet with Tim Miller and his team. I will arrive later tonight and will be joining in the search effort starting tomorrow morning. I will remain in Florida until Tuesday, unless Hurricane Ike decides to keep me longer.
I will be posting regular updates to this blog and will also continue to follow any developments regarding Casey Anthony.
Wish me luck!

Good job David! If I lived in the state I would be searching as well!

Best of luck in your search for this little angel, wish I too could be a part of the search team. Unfortunately I'm in Massachusetts. God bless and above all, please bring this child home so she may rest in peace. Godspeed.

Why are you going? This case is about one wacked-up family that has killed/covered up their daughter/grand-daughter. Let the legal system handle them. It's about family violence.
Intstead, I urge you to go to Chicago to see what is being done about the alaming rate of children being murdered by teen gangs. This week a 10 year old and a 13 yr old were killed in seperate incidents. No drugs involved. These are innocent kids trapped in a violent world. Is this the America we want? Shine some light on this! It is not intractible! Cook county has the highest tax rate in the nation and yet they are not protecting the kids! How can this stand? These are not family violence, it is stranger violence that is not tolerated in the suburbs. Just because it has 'always been" doesn't mean it must continue. HELP!

You go, mister! I, unfortunately, can't afford to fly to Florida to participate but I tried to help yesterday by donating to EquuSearch. Hopefully it will help them continue their awesome work - if not for Caylee, for other children needing to be found.
Thank you for doing this for those of us who can't but truly want to!

Now we're TALKIN' !
I'm proud of you David and I wish I could afford the airfare to go help the searchers myself.
It's sad that Equusearch has had such a mixed welcome, but it's important to locate the child. For many reasons, but especially to close the case and lay Caylee Anthony to rest.
I hope your trip is blessed and I'll be reading daily to see how it goes.

FYI:
(CNN) -- A Florida woman suspected in the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter is likely to leave jail Friday after somebody posted $500,000 bond, police said.
Casey Anthony could be released from jail mid-morning Friday, according to a news release from the Orange County Corrections Department.
"I have verified that the jail is now in possession of paperwork provided by the Clerk of the Court that will satisfy the $500,000 bail on the child neglect charge. Bail has already been satisfied on the other 11 charges," the release said.
The release did not say who posted the bail.

Hi David
I am so happy that you are standing up and taking initiative. I have been following this story since the beginning and keep having my heart broken over and over again. I hope you can make a difference and bring Caylee home for the world. Good luck!

I sincerely hope that you are able to rally up enough volunteers to find this little girl's body. Jay Blanchard Park area is my suspicions.

Best of luck and blessings to you, David, and to all of the volunteers! Be safe and I pray you guys bring that baby home for a proper burial.

If I lived in that area I'd help in the search. I'm in Ohio though.

Great job David and good luck! Thank you for all your hard work keeping this board updated and our spirts alive for the sake of Caylee. I'm sure everyone on this blog will keep you close to their hearts.

You are wonderful for doing this! I am in Oklahoma and I am seriously thinking about driving myself down there to help volunteer to search. It is pathetic what this mother is doing...keeping her own baby girl from having a proper burial and just leaving her out there in the elements. I truly hope she is found soon and can rest in peace, finally. Thanks for all you do!

David,
I have confidence that you will at least find something interesting to report! Be careful out there during your search. I can't wait to see what interesting information you bring back to your loyal readers! Take pictures and do share!

David,
I am so happy that you have the opportunity to help with the search for little Caylee, God be with you all. Do you not think that the Anthony's used the donations to the "find Caylee fund" to actually post bail for Casey. That is my opinion, look at their page it seems questionable that they have spent very much of that, as I really have not seen them do very much to actually find Caylee. Perhaps it should have been more truthfully named the " free Casey fund." I would be wiling to bet they would not have been able to raise bond and pay for defense with that name though. Grandma is crazy like a fox.

If someone wants to pay my fare from Panama to Orlando I would come help look for Caylee in a heart beat. And how sad that all these people who didn't even know her are doing more for her than her useless, repulsive family. And when is Grandpa going to say something? He is the ex-cop, he should be all over this. Maybe he can't keep up with all the lies and is afraid he will put his big fat stinky foot in his mouth like his wife (rotten pizza) And if Caylee is dead this family will never be with her again because she is in heaven and they are going to hell!!!

Thank you and thank you to all the folks at Discovery.

I believe Cassey could not have done this by herself, otherwise the child's body would have already been found. I believe that either George or Lee is the child's father, and the entire family is involved in the cover up.
I pray that God will reveal the truth.Best of luck.

I'm so glad to see that you are putting actions behind your words. I would love to join the search but honestly cannot afford the flight. I believe many people like myself would be willing to camp in a tent to be able to help in this search. I am amazed that the grandparents aren't out searching for this child 20 hours of each day.

Best of luck David. i wish we all could be there to join in the search. Thank you.
