Caylee Anthony : Ground Zero
September 05, 2008
My plane landed in Orlando at 11:00 p.m. After getting settled into to my hotel I called Mandy Albritton, the search director for Texas EquuSearch. According to Mandy, things are starting to pick up and they are seeing a lot more people stepping up and volunteering for the search effort.
Mandy also informed me that the command center has moved and is now located at 6317 McCoy Rd., Orlando, FL 32822.
While in route to Florida, I was informed that an anonymous person posted Casey Anthony's $500,000 bond. According to Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, the individual put up the money because they believe Anthony's constitutional rights have been violated.
As a result of these most recent developments, Anthony is expected to be released sometime tomorrow.
I am going to head over to the command center at about 7:00 a.m. tomorrow. I'll continue to update the blog with photos and information throughout the day.

I didn't learn about your plans until Friday morning but I wish you luck and commend you for going. I was in Orlando the first week of August for a family vacation and all I did was think of Caylee and couldn't believe that a couple weeks after the story broke, that I was heading right to where the investigation was. I really wished that there was something I could do since I was there but that was impossible for me. Prayers had to suffice. I hope that with more volunteers, something will happen.
