Casey Anthony Posts Bail But Remains Behind Bars
September 04, 2008
Casey Anthony, mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony, has reportedly posted bail for her most recent charges, which include fraudulent use of personal identification, uttering a forged check and petty theft.
It remains unclear why Anthony posted the $3,000 bond, considering she still needs to come up with 10 percent of her original $500,200 bond. Although, there is always the possibility that another Padilla-style deal is in the works.
According to FOX News, Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, was not aware that the bond was going to be posted.
Meanwhile, Casey's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, have met with Mark Nejame, a prominent Orlando attorney. According to Nejame, the Anthony's are not asking for his representation and are only seeking his advice.
I wonder if Nejame was aware that Casey Anthony's bond was being posted?
As a result of the bond, Anthony did not have to appear in court today to answer to her most recent charges.

Isn't it completely irrelevant to post a $300 bond when she still needs the $50K to get out? That is so confusing! I think you may be right that another Padilla deal may be in the works. He stated last night on CNN that he believes the dumpster by the boyfriend's house will soon be a "bombshell" discovery in this case.

I have completely had it with this poor excuse for a human bieng and her lowlife family. I hope the higher powers hold her and anyone and everyone involved in the coverup accountable. There is nothing like a Karmic and or Godly (whichever belief you hold) b1tch slap.
Very disappointed more people havent shown up to support the EquuSearch teams. Whether this baby is alive or passed, she needs to be brought home. She needs a proper memorial, flowers almost as beautiful as she is, and the people who actually put her BEFORE her rotten mother, need their chance at closure and the ability to grieve.
We need stiffer penalties for these types of people. Maybe we wouldnt have lost Caylee, Nyia, Neveah, and Chandler to these POS parents. It would have been a different outcome if we made it so that decent families could adopt these babies instead of going throught all the bullsh1t Bureaucratic Red Tape. Brad and Angelina can adopt kids in foreign countries faster than we can even dream of having the opportunity to save our own. I would have gladly taken one of these babies and showered them with the love, affection and stability they so richly deserve. Precious Babies

About her being in jail/bailed out, I think the Orange County skirted the law by setting such a high bail for relatively minor charges. This was a miscarriage of justice. I know they felt she was guilty of doing something to her daughter, but the law is supposed to be impartial and everyone is supposed to be innocent in the eyes of the law before proven guilty. This is an excellent example of how this is no longer the case, and we should all be horrified.
If you remove your emotional reaction, which is fed to a frenzy by the media, and think about the sequence of events here, you'll see just how bent this was. Imagine for a moment that she is innocent.(I know she's not, but bear with me) She was arrested on charges unrelated to her daughter's disappearance and held without bail for as long as the law allows and then assigned a massive bond. There are guidelines for bond amounts and the judge overrode them to make it less likely that she would make bail. Then they released her with an ankle bracelet - still without a shred of evidence that she was connected to her daughter's disappearance, and on unrelated charges. Her second arrest was conducted in a more professional manner and assigned a proper bond in a reasonable time frame - AFTER the first bond was revoked.
It's wrong. Even if they are right and Caylee is dead. They punished her before they knew anything about anything.
I see a lot of people screaming about how she should never have been let out of jail. They should be screaming about the hijacking of our justice system, because today it's her, but tomorrow it might be you, and YOU might just be innocent. It's criminal - but it's not a justice system.

My heart aches...I just can't imagine why this woman would kill her own flesh and blood. I have a 2 year old son. He is my world..I love him so much. It's really sad.
Casey's mother is just clinging on to hope....hope that her daughter didn't do the inevitalbe. I would be praying for a miracle also....you don't want to believe the truth when it comes to someone you love....the first thing is denial, especially when you have no answers. You just hold out that she will return. But I think we all know she is not coming back (I hope I am proved wrong).
I just don't get it though...you want your freedom...free to NOT be a mother...but yet your freedom has been taken away.
The parents need to leave her alone...that's what she wanted right?...To be by herself. No Caylee...so Casey could get a house w/ roommate, go to the beach, go to clubs...enjoy her "Other" life?
Does anyone know if they are checking the landfills (If that is what they have in FL)

sherisaid - I disagree with you - my personal experience with the court system is that bonds are not handed out equally based solely on the charges, with no consideration into the circumstances surrounding the charges. The judge weighs what is being presented to them, and there is an opportunity for the bond amount to be challenged to protect the rights of the accused. The fact that she had lied so much and that there was / is missing child is enough to concern a judge on that initial hearing, and her own lawyer failed in getting the bond reduced on subsequent tries.
I see it as the price one pays for lying so much - how is a judge to trust a proven liar? Had Casey chosen to repesent herself as a credible person, the bond would have been more reasonable. She opted out of doing that, and still appears to be doing so.

I may be wrong, but I really believe that they (Casey and Cindy) know more that they are telling. Somebody is covering up something or covering for somebody. She shows no emotion or anything. Why did she wait on alerting the police that Caylee was missing? You want her to talk, take her out of solitary and put her in with the other inmates. She'll be glad to talk. Leave her in until she does. Again, isn't there a $225,000.00 reward offered for her. Someone would have turned in anyone who had her. Casey is too quiet for her not to know something and too many things that do not add up. May God have mercy on her, because I sure can't. No pity for her at all on my part. How much more evidence do the cops need? Tell me if I am wrong, you get stopped by the police with drugs in your car, you are responsible. You are accountable for what is in your car. What's wrong with this picture?

I'm starting to think Dr. Phil posted the $500,000.00 bond and made a deal with the Anthony's for an exclusive interview. Didn't he also bond out that teenage girl who was the ring leader in the video taped beating of another teenage girl because he wanted to do an exclusive? And didn't he also talk to Britney Spears' mom and went to the hospital to talk to Britney and then wanted to use all of this for an exclusive? Things that make ya go hmmmmm...

Just Heard Casey's parents are posting the Bail!
It's Casey's parents that are posting the second bond, as they are the ones that feel their daughters constitutional rights have been "Grossly" violated.

YUP ! Casey Parents have posted bond for Casey's 2nd jail release. Their all sick...
I also find it very suspicious that Cindy and George has hired a "Criminal" Attorney to represent them, not Casey!

I feel that Caylee needs a Lawyer to protect her from the rest of her family. The lying and covering up has not helped her case. I would challenge a Lawyer to find a way to protect her Rights, not mom,Grama, anyone else. If I was Casey I would be nuts with anxiety over my missing daughter. My son wandered away from me at a Street Fair when he was little and I was overcome with fear. She shows no emotion at all.
I can't believe the way the Anthony's have treated Tim Miller! After all he had his own daughter go missing many years ago-he understands the torture, sadness I am sure. They seem to have become more and more unreasonable as this goes forward.
Although my heart goes out to them, they are not being realistic. Casey needs to tell the truth, she needs to quit hurting her family and friends. Tell the truth so the frustration and pain can be healed. I do not understand those people at all-please someone get a Lawyer for Caylee. She deserves more rights than any of them.
One more thing before I would help Casey Anthony avoid jail,I would donate to Equusearch. There are alot of missing people of all ages. God bless them all...........
