Read Newly Released Court Documents in Casey Anthony Case

Yesterday, prosecutors released over 400 pages of court documents in the Caylee Anthony case. Several new details are revealed within the documents, which paint an even bleaker picture of Casey Anthony.

According to witness statements, Anthony wanted to give Caylee up for adoption prior to her birth. It is also revealed that Cindy Anthony allegedly told one of her friends that Casey was a sociopath. In addition, a man named Mark Hopkins, someone Casey Anthony had met online, told investigators that Anthony had called him prior to her arrest and told him that there was something she needed to discuss with him but was not sure how he would react.

The documents also reveal that several items were removed from the trunk of Anthony's car, including a leather bag, a child's backpack and a knife. There is also a statement from an employee of the towing company that stored the car. According to the employee, the vehicle smelled similar to another car the company had once stored, which was known to have contained a dead body.

Perhaps most interesting of all are the transcripts of police interviews, in which investigators repeatedly confront Anthony about her lies.

It is my opinion that the mother is guilty of hiding what happend to her daughter. I think that something terrible has happened to little Caylee. The grandparents know what happened as well, and are trying to save their daughter.
The emotions must be nearly unbearable. I pray Caylee is alive, but the circumstancial evidence to this point is awful.

I have been following this story since I saw it on the news. And I can say for a fact that this Casey Anthony is definitely a sociopath. From coming in contact with a sociopath, myself, a year ago, I have really researched a lot about what it exactly means...and after reading all the documents and conversations in the report about Casey Anthony, it is an EXACT description of the characteristics of the person I know to be a sociopath. The loss of contact with parents and family (or anyone that questions their ways), habitually lying about even the simplest things, always trying to be "one up" on the next person, stealing from the people closest to them, lying about employement, school, it's crazy how on the dot this is to my own story. I believe only people who have dealt with a sociopath can truely understand the devistation and lack of conscience and remorse these people have towards anyone in their lives. With that being said, I also truely believe her parents know exactly how she is and what she is capable of. And I also came to the conclusion, that sociopaths take simple facts that they come in contact with on a daily basis and use these facts in their lies. So that is probably why they found that Zeneida Gonzalez had looked at the apartment. Casey, at one point, probably saw her name written down. And of course the question is do sociopaths really believe their own lies?? Who knows...all I know is they can destroy anyone they come in contact with. Whether it's emotional, financial, and or physical. They just don't care, period. Why would daughter be an exception? Obviously she wasn't. She fell victum to her emotionless mother. I pray she is alive, but my gut tells me otherwise.
And the truth is, no one really knows how far a sociopath will go with their evil ways, but it is also known that they are capable of just about anything. It's scary to know their are more of these people in the world. (I think they say 1 in a 1000?) Sooooo scary!!!

I have been so engrossed with this story for weeks, i have a three year old grand-daughter and i have to know on a daily basis what is happening with her, my son is a wonderful father and he respects me, he calls me daily if he isn't bringing her over to my home. My grand-daughter's name is Julia and today she came over for a visit, she immediately went to her toy box and got out a disney music box and began to dance as she said,
"Grandma, this dance is for Caylee", then she said, "Caylee likes to dance"...I was shocked!as i held back my tears. My son said that he had never spoken of the story of Caylee and neither have i to my grand-daughter. Children are so intuitive and we are praying that Caylee will dance again and be found alive.

You have your chance to get an abortion and if you don't use it, you raise that kid or find someone who can raise it(legaly Adoption Etc..). Who carries, gives birth to, and by default cares for a child? The mother. A birth certificate can read, "Father Unknown". How many single dads with full custody do you know? Is the mother a junkie? I think the problem (having been forced to define one) is the fact that it is generally accepted to assume that if a woman becomes pregnant, she is by default responsible for that child. If the father chooses to be uninvolved, we just take him to court for child support. It's routine.

If a mother doesn't want her child, whether she is takes the child to a "safe haven" (But only up to 7 days old) or puts him up for adoption, or willingly signs her rights over, she is going to be looked down upon. People will call her a selfish, uncaring b*.

It's two different worlds.

Myself, I am 24 with a 2 year old and 3 year old, and I couldn't imagine doing any of the above to my children. My daughter watched Caylee's video, and she as she watched, she looked up at me and said "mommy, that's me!". She does have a resemblence, though my daughter is blonde. It broke my heart and I thought, "no, baby. that's not you".

Their father, however, hasn't seen them in almost 2 years.

Looks like the Anthony's forgot to search the trunk of the car for evidence of foul play before the cops showed up. There was a knife in the trunk taken as evidence. The Anthony's are fooling us with their kidnapper search. They got a lot of 'splainin' to do, i.e., some plausable lies to make up for the reason of this knife being in the trunk. Can't wait to hear it. Maybe the reason they turned on the media is because they knew beforehand that these docs were about to be made available to the public and they want the media to just go away. I don't buy it that they say the media is not helping to find Caylee.

I started reading the documents last night - yes, I printed them out - yes, I am obsessed! But I live in Orlando, so give me a little break. Anyway - did anyone else figure out that those emails from Gabe, Cheryl, Tom Franck, etc. were all written by ONE person, I believe Casey was the creator of those "people" and the author of the emails. The emails have the same punctuation and writing style. Very very strange - going back to April - she was creating people who are contacting her about work engagements? Probably showing these emails to friends & family - "look everyone - I do work!" It will be very interesting to see the forensics in trial come out & show that these emails came from & were created by Miss Casey. I'm not even a quarter way through the documents and already the picture is very clear. I think Amy H. said it best that something terrible happened to Caylee, and Casey just concocted some story in her head and she now believes that she was kidnapped. She saw all these random people & in the weeks following Caylee's death, she put together this elaborate story. I believe she is a cunning criminal - not a psychologically disturbed person. I said to my husband - thank god I never had any contact with this girl - all the names she has used have been people she had very little contact with, but somehow met or knew through the years!!

What I just don't understand is how Casey knew that Zenaida looked at that apartment so many months before. I read in the documents that she had an acquaintance who lived in the Saw Grass apartments. But how could Casey have gotten that information? It's just so unreal that a woman with the same name would have been connected somehow.

I think that Casey did whatever she did, and somehow (probably after finding car) George found out about it. He covered it up (cement), while Casey used her imagination, and ran off as part of THEIR cover up. If Casey was around, Georgey couldn't reasonable not ask "Where's Caylee?" So, they decide she needs to go away for a while. Well, once the rest of the fam found out, they couldn't quite give them the "low down" before they freaked and called police. Whoops. Once he saw his pathetic self in danger, George turned on his daughter and allowed her to take full blame, and let the media hype hang his daughter. I just read the documents released and none of this makes sense. It has been determined that Casey Anthony was not working yet the questions asked her and her responses were as if she was working and dropped her child off at the sitters every morning before going to work. If she had a job, it was probably hooking and dancing. Unfortunately, it is clear that Casey hates her mother and hated her daughter for cramping her lifestyle and stealing her mother's attention away from her. Also, Casey has lived her lies for so long she believes them herself. I'm no shrink but she is terribly sick and so is her mother. If her mother was actually the person raising Caylee as she states, then where was she when Casey and Caylee were both sleeping in a former boyfriend's bed for weeks at a time? Dysfunctional isn't even the word for this family. I have shed more tears for this child than her mother has...

This breaks my heart. I love my 3 year old more than words can say. I couldn't imagine not having her with me. I can't drop her off with my mother for the night and not miss her like crazy. How do you do this? This woman deserves to rot in jail. Why they allowed her to be released is beyond me. How could there even be bail on this case? My daughter bring me so much joy. If she didn't want Caylee before birth and she made it known this is just as much Casey's mothers fault as it was Casey's. She should have supported Casey giving Caylee up for adoption. Is this really the right place for those with an Anti-Choice agenda to spread their personal propaganda? I'm disgusted by this comment. Insuring that women have control over their own bodies does NOT lead mothers to kill their children. Perhaps if Cindy Anthony hadn't forced her daughter to have a child this entire thing never would have happened.

After having just finished reading through the hundreds of pages of discovery, something really sticks out in my mind. During Casey’s interview - she speaks of Caylee in the past tense:

If you look at the bottom of page 140 when the detective starts asking about Caylee’s favorite places, she says, “She liked going to Blanchard Park” and she continues speaking like that.

I have not heard anyone mention anything about that, but I wanted to make sure someone knew it was there. It seems pretty telling evidence to me.

I just heard on the news that the first test the police sent to the Body Farm came back to indicate the presence of a dead body being in Casey's trunk. I hope this is true and if it is they better hurry up and arrest her before she leaves town! I think she killed her baby to get revenge on her mom. If you read her My Space page and her mother's they had a very strained relationship and Casey was determined to keep Caylee away from her mom at any cost, although she didn't want the responsibility of caring for her herself! I am so sad....... they are reporting that the air samples taken and tested by the Body Farm did come back positive for a Decomposing Body in the trunk of Casey's car.. and that the OC Sheriffs office are offering part immunity to Casey if she admits this was an accident... After reviewing the documents.
I thought about several things which stood out to me.
One thing is how one male friend who had met and hung out with Caylee & Casey says:
"Caylee liked the guys ,uhm, she was a little flirt"
this is a two year old girl! how could anybody say she was/is a FLIRT?

I think we all know the outcome of this sad story. Casey didn't want to play Mommy anymore and little Caylee was in her way of partying. This is a sad society we live in. If you listen to her phone conversation with her girlfriend all she thinks of is herself , she say she wants to talk to Tony her friend asks why Casey says because he is my boyfriend and I didn't get the chance to talk to him , my God woman where is your heart your little girl is gone and all you are thinking about is some guy.I would love to be on this jury. A few comments: I doubt that offering Casey immunity will change anything, as she is not a rational person. Her only "rationality" is to defend her nonexistent sense of self. I think she will commit suicide before she will admit to this crime. (ie we are not going to get the satisfaction of a confession--not to mention the satisfaction of Caylee alive and well.)

Other than their denial in the face of so much evidence (including their knowledge of Casey), I do not think her parents are involved in any way. Even if you believe your child is a sociopath, it is hard for a parent to comprehend that their daughter is capable of killing her own daughter. Unfortunately a sociopath (practically by definition) is capable of anything under the right circumstances--just get in the way of their wants and needs and they will do whatever is required to get their way. Witness Scott Peterson, Mark Hacking, Susan Smith etc .

We had a former daughter in law who after losing her kids and
we adopted them, was leaving her new baby here and there and at 4 months abandoned her here pretty much. She stole my car
and left with the baby of 15 months of age and no one knew where she was. I didn't wait 1 month to go looking. I went within 12 hours of the car and baby missing. I found the baby at a motel and the Mama strung out ..She traded the baby for the car pretty much, but I grabbed the baby and after she nor the car showed up for over a week I went and got temp custody.
My husband and I fought for permanent custody for a year and we got it. She is three now and living with her other natural brother and sister here where she has been since 4 months and safe. They have different bio Daddy's but she never divorced our son until 2006 and he was the legal father. I can't even imagine Cindy not even looking for her grandbaby and on top of that, you can't tell me she didn't know about her daughter's behavior. She's a druggie I bet two to one and that makes you crazy as a loon and DANGEROUS.
Our three year old cannot even have vistation by court order
