Cannibal Killer Kevin Ray Underwood Sentenced to Die For Murdering Jamie Rose Bolin

April 24, 2008

Kevin_ray_underwoodThe Silence of the Lambs was one of Kevin Ray Underwood's favorite movies, or so the sick psycho wannabe cannibal killer wrote in the personal profile area of his Internet "diary." It was his obsessive cannibalistic fantasies, prosecutors contended, that prompted the 28-year-old grocery store stock boy to lure innocent 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin into his Purcell, Oklahoma apartment on April 12, 2006 where he brutally bashed in the girl's head with a cutting board before finishing her off by suffocating her. The cute, rosy-cheeked, bespectacled girl had lived with her father in an apartment on the floor above Underwood's; when the police raided his unit two days later, they found the little girl's naked body stuffed into a plastic storage tub that had been sealed with duct tape. Her head had been nearly decapitated, and tool marks, later determined to have been made with a decorative dagger, were clearly visible on her neck. It was later shown that she had also been sexually assaulted.

Meredith Kercher Murder Case Update

April 23, 2008

A number of new questions have recently been raised in connection with the sensational Italian police investigation of the Meredith Kercher murder case, some of which have raised doubts in official circles about what really happened the night Meredith died. Although American honors student Amanda Knox, along with her Italian boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, and Ivory Coast national Rudy Guede were arrested as suspects for Meredith's murder last autumn and have been languishing in jail ever since, prosecutors in the case haven't leveled formal charges against any of them - yet. Veteran Paul Berkley Murdered In Bizarre Love Triangle

April 22, 2008

Navy Reservist Paul Berkley, 46, had been proudly serving his country in the Middle East in President George W. Bush's war against Iraq since January 2005, when he left his family and their Clayton, North Carolina home for a tour of duty that was based out of Bahrain.  According to his daughter, Becky, 18, Berkley had served in the Middle East "for months and months" without ever getting shot, only to return home to presumably safer turf where he was ironically shot down in a public park while on a picnic with his wife, Monique, twenty years his junior, in what appeared, at least on the surface, as a bizarre, bungled robbery.

Monique_berkleyWhat Berkley didn't know when he returned home was that shortly after he had left for Bahrain, Monique had begun an affair with an 18-year-old man, Andrew Canty, who promptly moved in with her after Paul's shipped out.  Canty, raised in Brooklyn and Queens County, New York, the police later learned, had attended the same high school as Becky Berkley and her brother, Zeke, Paul Berkley's two children from a previous marriage.  Canty, it turned out, had moved out of Monique's place prior to Berkley's homecoming on December 14, 2005—but not before engaging in a secret murder plot with Monique to kill Berkley so that they could collect his $400,000 life insurance policy.
