Catfishin' Kings: The ULTIMATE Noodling Competition!
By: Jodi Westrick
Get ready for the ultimate noodling competition! Tune in this Monday at 10PM E/P to see catfish cowboys from Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas square off against one another in a high adrenaline noodling tournament to decide who will be crowned Catfishin' Kings!
The first round of competition kicks off with North Carolina vs. Louisiana and Kentucky vs. Tennessee. Over four heats, these teams will brave treacherous lake conditions - doing their best to apply what they've learned in their home states to Texas noodlin'.
These noodlers are the best of the best. Who do you think will take home the ultimate prize? Watch Monday March 11 at 10PM E/P to decide for yourself!
Learn how to handfish here and then watch our world-famous noodlers from Oklahoma show you how it's done!
Why don't you let some Oklahoma guys like myself (not my friends currently on TV) compete in the tournament? I just like the competition and the fellowship of "down to earth" noodlers like myself!

It was filmed on Lake Tawokani....the Murdock brothers beginning segment very well could have been at Sam Rayburn they are from A small town close to Nac and we are very proud of them!!!!!

I just finished watching the episode on texarkana. I have been fishing cats all my life and I noticed all the fish placed on the scale do not thrash around and they look dead. Are the fish released that are actually caught or do you kill them and eat them ?

It was Lake Tawokani. I was at the finale taping.

Why all the secrecy, it's already over and done. Why not say what lake the show was filmed at? The map of the lake was bogus, it doesn't match any of the lakes in the vicinity of Terrell, TX or anywhere in TX for that matter. Why weren't ANY of the contestants allowed to name their hometowns? I don't like when information is purposefully withheld on "reality" t.v. shows. Also why aren't there any teams from Georgia, Florida or OKLAHOMA? I know for a fact that North Carolina and most of Kentucky are not ideal noodling areas.

The show was very awesome and definitely was the real thing when it comes to grabbling. I really liked the fast pace of the show and the TN team from my home state were showing out last night!
