Pit Bulls & Parolees: Pit Bull Rescued from Drain Pipe, Saved Again by Zach Randolph and Villalobos

 

Tia is called on by the Memphis Grizzlies’ Zach Randolph to help find a home for a rescued pit bull in Memphis, Tenn.  After being trapped in a drain pipe for several days and rescued by local authorities, the traumatized little guy needs a loving forever home.  Enter Villalobos!

Buried Alive Premieres this Saturday, Jan. 12, @ 10 p.m. e/p.

And, Dameon, one of Tia's most trusted parolees, returns to California to learn whether he will be released from parole. While Tia waits to hear if Dameon will be returning to Villalobos, Mariah and Earl are given the responsibility of training Grizzly, a puppy rescued from the 9th Ward, in preparation for his adoption.

i love what you do. I love pits and they are just big babies. I use to have one but he died. Me and my mom try to help all dogs I have 6 dogs and they are all from bad homes and they just love everyone they meat.Someday i will get a pit again.I love dogs and hope that one day they all will be in a good home.I hope that one day me and my mom will be just like you.I live in Kentucky and I love it hear.I also wish one day I could meet you and your dogs that is one of the biggest dream. wow you guys rock i watch your show and i really like what you all do when i get older i am going to do what you all do my sister and i love pit bulls and we had one but we had to give it away because it bit our brother and the person we gave it they leafed him outside and he got acted and died his name was ace and i just wonted to say i love what you do and some day people like the ones who love pit bulls even the ones who don't will help these pit bulls. I think that it is wonderful what tia and her family do everyday to save the helpless animals who dont desevre to be treated that way. I have a Rottweiller name Buttercup and I have had her since she was 5 weeks old I couldnt think about how life would be without her.I enjoy watching the show every week

tea i hope you keep doing your best your the best in the world i know you prob think i'm crazy but i had a pit bull red nose tan fur and got him when he was 1 and i had him for 3 years then some body posen him and i cryed for 3 days didden eat but someone told me if you love something let it free but i still cry at night and still think about him his name was duke i told you this becase every pitbull matters

You can make any dog mean all you have to do is chain it up, and pitts are not the only dogds that maime people when my daughter was 2yrs old she was playing around a chow and it got ahold of her toy and when she went to take it back hedidnt like that so he decided to use her as a chew toy if it hadnt been for my husband he would of killed her.she walked away with two scars on her hip about 4 inches long and few other wholes . but if he hadnt knocked him off when he did he would of went for her throat next. them dogs are not children dogs like pitts are you indroduce a baby to a pitt a its like that is one of there's . if some one tries to hurt that child you better beware of that dog cause you wont know what it you.that is all I have to say.

I was wanting to let Pat know about the distrubing fact that the Guilford County Animal Shelter in Greensboro, NC automatically kills any and every pit bull, rot, chows, including PUPPIES even if they have pit mix in them immediately!!! Regardless of the dogs attitude!! HELP!!! PLEASE!!!!

Just like most uneducated pit owners (PAT)you all must not have a clue. Pits have killed more than 3 times as many people (most childern) in the last 30 years as assualt rifles have in the US. What??? Over 65% of kills and maimed people are from Pits and pits only make up 4.4% of the dog population..4.4% wow..Do you under stand that??? How many Owners and family members have been attacked by a so called calm and friendly family dog that was a pit. Dont take my word for it look it up on the web.

Ok guys...if you dont like pitts then fine go about your daily business and stop critisizing those of us that are trying to save them. They deserve to be here and be happy just like any other breed! Love your show. Pit bulls are not bad dogs and they have gotten a bad rap. It all is based on how they are raised and how people take care of them. My daughter had 2 pits and had a son 1 year ago. Before bringing him home her husband brought home clothing with grandson's smell so that they got use to it. Daughters 2 pits are not ignored just because there is a new addition to family. Jade and Brandy are still treated like family. I trust her dogs with my grandson.

Just because a dog is a Pitbull doesn't mean he is automatically an aggressive dog. Ignorance much? ANY dog would be aggressive and threatening if they are put through dog fights and mistreated you idiot. Most of these dogs if found and helped can transform through weeks of rehabilitation. Wow to all those that say pits are bad dogs, obviously you don't have one. Pits are loving dogs just like other dogs. Depends how you raise them, again like other dogs no matter the breed. Me and my husband have 2 pit bulls. One is 12 yrs old n the other is 1. They both are such babies! Their loving, n wonderful dogs. All they want is someone to love them and someone to care for them. It is how the dog is treated I got a red nose put bull off Craigslist she was stabbed and had things put out on her head. I took her home and retrained/rehabilitated here in six months she was a great dog she played with my chinchilla it was her baby. The chinchilla ran the house and she never went after it Se protected it the chinchilla used to sit by get feet. My dog went to my work hen I did grooming and never had a problem with strangers or animals except people in uniform but I retrained and she was fine my brother is in service an she dd great. We would go to Berlin turnpike in ct and a random guy hit her in face an she just looked at him. She did not do anything. She loves everyone now she is up north with someone I used to b with and she is a fire dog. You ave to treat them right and they are great dogs. She playe with my cousins and everything
