Gator Boys: Getting Knee Deep in Mississippi
By: Betty Chu
Before they can even settle in to their new home in Mississippi, Paul and Jimmy are inundated with gator calls. After a flat tire and getting lost on the bayou back roads, they quickly realize catching alligators in Mississippi is completely different from Florida. The murky swamp water and noxious bayous favor the alligators, placing the Gator Boys in greater danger.
Knee Deep in Mississippi Premieres Sunday @ 9 p.m. e/p
Meanwhile, the rest of the Gator Boys are under the gun, working in the sweltering Mississippi heat in order to finish building a gator wrestling arena in three days.
Watch a highlight from the episode where they help one Mississippi fisherman competing with one angry girl for a catch:

I don't know whether the Gator Boys ever resd these blogs, but I admire your work in Mississippi. I'm an old carpenter from Wyoming, so I've never even seen a real alligator in 60 years, but it's a breathe of fresh air to see young people willing to work hard and help the animals we share this land with. Thank you for being part of the solution and G-d bless you.

Welcome to Mississippi, gatorboys, just remember these gators are a different creature here and the environment is theirs not yours. They don't call the breed Alligator Mississippiensis for absolutely no reason. Ever feel like travelin an hour north come grab a beer and a steak, my treat.
