You Did it: Watch and Give Updates and More!
By: Jodi Westrick
Did you tune in last Saturday for Animal Planet's annual "Watch and Give" for Pit Bulls and Parolees? If so, thank you! You were one of 1.3 million viewers who helped drive $50,000 in donations towards the Villalobos Rescue Center. This was the third year in a row that viewers' generosity helped Tia Torres's New Orleans-based pit bull rescue.
[WATCH: See Highlights from Pit Bulls and Parolees!]
As a thank you, tune in on Saturday for an all-day marathon of Pit Bulls and Parolees starting at 10 AM E/P. The marathon leads into the mid-season finale of the show, which premieres at 10 PM E/P. Are you ready to catch up on a season full of laughs, tears and, most of all, gorgeous pit bulls? Tune in tomorrow and prepare yourself with this clip from this season!
We live near Dallas Tx and started watching your program everyday on Animal Planet for a couple of weeks. They quit showing it. I miss it. When and where can we watch?

Tia, I have had two pits in my life and my last one my boy I had to put down a year ago.. I bottle fed cleaned and loved him more than I could ever live a dog.. his mom was very protective of me as was her son bullet. It tears my heart out to see these poor babies not have a forever home. I wish I could take two or more but I live in a travel trailer and this park does not allow pits.,my husband got me a shitzhu to try to take the place of bullet...but it's not happening...I love your show and if I wasn't disabled I would be there helping you anyway I could..we have a cat that adopted us..also. but I want a pit. If there is anything I can do to help you and your family please let me know. I live in silsbee, tx. God bless you and your family and your extended family. Keep up the great work tia. Jean

I really enjoy your show and I am a real dog lover myself...have 3, not pits, but all dogs are great no matter the breed. The world needs more people like you and yours! God bless all of you! You guys ROCK!

Tia and everyone at the rescue center, Thank you so much for what you do for the babies. Like you said, they are a misunderstood breed. I had a Half Pit, Half Chow since he was a puppy, I had to put him down because of old age and I miss him dearly. Watching your show reminds me of him all the time. Thank you for your show and the care everyone of you give them. I wish we could help you guys in more ways than watching the show.

I watch alot of the shows on animal planet and your show rates right up there with the one of the best.
Thanks for letting us see what goes on in your pitbull rescue.

Hi, watching PIT BULLS AND PAROLEES, I was concerned about one episode, where the someone wants to adopt a Dog, he was from Texas, and Tia went to Texas to check the home out. The guy seemed fine, but do you do a background check at all on the these adopting people. I worry about the Michael Vick's out there, Ya Know?
