Things are Getting Wild at Animal Planet HQ

Things got a little wild at Animal Planet yesterday when Dave Salmoni showed up at work with a few of his friends in tow. In preparation for his new show, Frontier Earth presented by Walmart (which premieres Nov. 13 at 8PM E/P), Dave brought in a slew of animals to treat Discovery employees. Take a look at some of the fun below!

Salmoni brought along a coati (which is in the same family as raccoons), an alligator, a warthog, a raccoon and a monkey (of which we forget the actual type - we'll get back to you). Things got particularly fun when the young alligator above decided to, uh, relieve himself all over the floor of the HD Theater. You can't predict wild animals, right?

Frontier Earth Presented by Walmart is a six-episode series that closely examines some of the planet’s most elusive animals, their distinctive habitats and their unique methods of survival. Animal Planet’s large predator expert/zoologist Dave Salmoni returns to the small screen to host this weekly, wildlife series. Salmoni brings viewers closer than ever to animals great and small, from the massive Komodo dragon to the miniscule killer ants of the Arizona Badlands.

While you're here, take a moment to check out one of our favorite wild animal videos and be sure to tune in on Nov. 13!
