Man Dons Goat Suit and Hangs Out With Wild Goats

This blog is called "Animal Oddities" but I'm pretty sure that it's we humans who are the oddest species of them all.  Various news outlets are reporting a rather bizarre story of a man in Utah who apparently has dressed in a goat costume and is attempting to hang out with wild mountain goats.

Clickon Detroit reports:

"Utah wildlife officials told the AP the man isn't breaking any laws, but they want to talk with him about the dangers of getting into a fight with a real mountain goat or being mistaken for wild game during the upcoming hunting season."

The discovery of the "Goat Man" has sparked everything from jokes about Furry subculture and Narnia (see: Mr. Tumnas) to a "Leave Goat Man Alone" campaign (ala Chris Crocker's "Leave Britney Spears Alone" viral video from a few years ago).  

On a more serious note, let's hope that he doesn't end up like this unfortunate hiker who got on a mountain goat's bad side and paid the ultimate price.
